I've been using the CAP Barbell Exercise Puzzle Mats for about a month now, and overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. These mats are perfect for protecting my floor while working out, and they provide excellent cushioning for high-impact exercises like jumping or burpees. Pros: Easy to Assemble: The puzzle-piece design makes it super easy to set up and adjust the mat to fit any space. You can add or remove tiles as needed, which is great for customizing your workout area. Non-Slip Surface: I love how grippy the surface is. Even when I'm sweating or using equipment, the mats stay in place, and I don't feel like I'm slipping. Versatile: These mats are multi-purpose. I've used them for everything from yoga to weightlifting, and they handle it all. I especially like that they can be used in a home gym or in a living room where floor protection is key. Comfortable Cushioning: The mats provide just the right amount of cushion. They’re thick enough to protect your joints without being too soft that it affects your stability. Easy to Clean: I’ve spilled some water and sweat on them, and they wipe off without issue. No stains or lingering odors. Cons: Thickness: While the 3/4” thickness is generally adequate, for certain high-impact exercises, it could be a bit more cushioned. Edge Stability: The edges where the pieces connect can sometimes come apart during vigorous workouts, although this is more of a minor issue. The media could not be loaded. Note about video: it had rained after I placed the mats but before I set up the pool so apparently they do soak up liquid because while I was filling the pool, the weight of the water was squeezing out the liquid from the mats. I did my research before purchasing and this material is supposed to be the smallest cell of mat material that isn’t rubber, the rubber ones would have cost close to $1000 but I dislike using sand underneath for many reasons, it gets everywhere at the end of the season and second but most important, it’s not soft on your feet or knees or bottom so I decided to give these mats a shot! Hoping they do not mold and disintegrate, that I can clean them and dry them before storing them at the end of the season! 🤞unfortunately, if it does mold then the listing lied about the material and I wasted $200. But feels so much better while in the pool, super sold and comfortable while hanging out! I will update in the fall when I break down the backyard for winter! Read more
