Good shoes for dancing dolls.

I bought these dance shoes for a doll I work with regularly. They fit as expected and stay secure during movement. The soles provide the right amount of slide and control, which matters more than you’d think. They’ve held up well with repeated use and haven’t shown unusual wear. Overall, they meet the requirements for what I needed them to do. Read more

Perfect for dance practice

I’m a recreational dancer and bought these to help with pirouettes. They work great and help me smoothly execute the dance moves. There are a lot of conflicting comments about the fit. For me, I am a shoe size 7, and the medium fit me great. They’re not too tight in the toe. Looking forward to taking these on more spins around the studio! Read more

Size up!

Love the Capezio brand, and we are frequent shoppers of their products. With that being said, These lyrical shoes are not sized correctly at all. My daughter is 9 yers old and wears a street size 1-1.5 in kids. I ordered her a small in this women’s shoe and they are extremely tight. She even tried to dance around and stretch them out to no avail. I will be returning them and getting her a medium. Giving the product 4 starts because they are a good brand and always produce quality products . Read more

*I'm an aerialist and not a ballet dancer* Run SMALL but seem like good quality

The media could not be loaded. As an aerialist I use 1/2 shoes specifically to protect my feet when sliding on the floor and for standing turns and pivots, while having the freedom to use the rest of my foot to grip on the apparatus (foot mounts, Russian split etc) First order I received only 1 shoe, I started a return and reordered to get the full pair. Firstly these RUN SMALL- I am a regular W size 8 and ordered the mediums. My toes are trying to push out the tops of these which I know will shorten the life of them by stretching the leather out. Next time I'll size up. These are great for turns, it has a wider base than others I've used and no fabric bunching to get caught on. I do also like that the color is close to my (light and cool) skin tone and is a more neutral latte nude. Unfortunately for my purposes, the fabric doesn't provide enough coverage to slide over the tops of the feet without skin burns. I'm guessing for ballet this is not a problem but other brands have covered more of the top of the feet for what I use them for. Other than the fit issue, they do seem really comfortable. The straps especially are smooth, don't dig in and lay flat which is a plus. Overall the quality seems good (I haven't danced in them other than trying them on) and I will use them for aerial practice even if I can't use them for the specific floorwork I had hoped. Read more
