Had heard that this was one of the strongest scented candles that you could buy. I have found this to not be completely true, however, the scent is very strong and will full up a large room with no problem. I bought the volcano version, fyi, and it was a great smell. I am a guy and this maybe wasn't a scent that I would like to have burning in my house often but I am giving it 5 stars anyway because it is a great candle and I am sure other people will enjoy it. The smell isn't super strong and even with 5 or 6 hour burn times, it doesn't burn completely even, but it does give off a powerful smell after a while and will fill up large rooms with a fruity, tropical, great summer scent. Even with uneven burning I would say the 35 hour burn time is very accurate. As I write this review, I have what is left of the candle sitting in front of me and I can definitely smell the scent unlit from a few feet away. The smell to me is a fruity, citrus type smell. It has other notes in it that I can't describe but it definitely smells good. It is very refreshing and has a bit of an earthy tone to it.
