I've had the best luck with Capture products removing difficult stains. Tried the rug shampoo in my Hoover rug shampoo machine for the first time and was impressed. I had a stain I thought would never come out. After going over it several times it was gone. I'd definitely recommend. Read more
In January of this year Northern Indiana received 3.5 inches of rain in two days so of course that was the perfect time for the float switch on our sump pump to break. It wasn't as bad as it could have been but we did have soaked carpet in our finished basement and bedroom. Thank goodness it was only about 3-4 feet into the rooms and just around the outside walls. Ten days, five fans and a dehumidifier later we had some pretty gross around the edges carpet. I really wish I had thought to take some pictures but this stuff worked so well! The carpet looks and smells fresh and clean! So glad I took a chance and bought it. The only thing is I wish the powder container had a shaker top. We bought a new house and the carpets were extremely dirty from children and dogs. I’ve cleaned the bedroom carpets twice now and the water is still coming up dirty. The carpeting is of really nice quality so we are hoping to save it so I decided to use this cleaner in conjunction with the pretreatment spray and powder. So far most stains have come up but too much of the dog smell remains. I’ll be washing them a third time this weekend. Read more
Capture has solved my carpet spills for 15+ years and I’m always happy. The only other supplemental carpet products that I use are Totally Awesome (seriously totally awesome) from Dollar Tree and a homemade essential oil spray for freshening. You just can’t go wrong with Capture. Read more
I have a puppy that still likes to mark his territory in the house. I use this in a multipurpose steamer on my carpet and it gets the pet urine smell out very well and helps to mask the oder of any new tinkles for days. Strongly recommend this product. Read more
Not as good on pet stains like the Capture pretreatment and powder. I really that combo better. Didnt see results like that using my steam cleaner. Read more
