My battery died and I couldn’t afford a new one but I COULD afford this. It kept me going for a month so I could save up for the new battery. I’m sure I could have kept going, too. Super easy, super fast, and charges quickly too. Read more
I picked up this jump pack so I could have one for instances where I need some 12v power to start up small engines and my car in the unlucky event my batteries die. I haven't used it on my car yet, but I have already used it several times with my riding lawnmower and it starts It right up despite the weak battery. It came with a nice little carrying case that can fit the unit, its cable, and the manual. It has a type C charger which is nice as it makes it easy to charge up, but it would have been convenient if it came with its own charger, especially a 12v one that would allow me to leave it charged in my car so it's available whenever I need it. For the price paid, it does the job though. If you're someone who has a lot of small engine equipment with electric starters or you want something in case of emergency for your 4cyl sedan, this would be a good buy. I would guess you will need a larger jump pack if you have a truck or any extreme weather needs though. Read more
It works great. My son left his car at my house for several months and of course due to it not being driven the battery died. This battery charger was a lifesaver. It charges quickly for use and took no time to charge the battery in my son's car so that I could move it to another spot in the garage. This is agreat investment for emergencies and it can be easily stored in the trunk of your vehicle. Read more
Waste of money. Got this for my son in case his battery died. This happened about 5 weeks after purchase, tried to jump his car, and it did not work. Totally pointless. Read more
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've been holding off on reviewing this product, but haven't needed to jumpstart my car since I got it. It has a lot of power, and I have used it to charge devices. It has plenty of power to do that, and it's easy to recharge the battery. Because it is small, I can store it in the compartment where the spare tire is located. If you have room in your glove box, it could fit there, but mine is full of other items, including a first-aid kit that takes up too much space. It would fit if I took that out. Assuming that it will start the car if the battery dies, this is a great unit. It has all the ports you'll need and comes with the cables. Read more
This device jump starts a car when the battery is dead. It can jump start multiple vehicles on a single charge. That certainly beats approaching strangers for a jump start or calling for roadside assistance that takes a while to get there. After unboxing I charged the device overnight, packed it in its carrying case, and tucked it securely in my trunk. I feel good having it there. The downside of reviewing this car battery jump starter is that I can't test it in a live circumstance. I can't run my battery down just to see it work. So, it has to sit patiently in my trunk waiting for the day it's needed - by me or some stranger with a dead battery who approaches me. One catch, of course, is that it has to be charged. Every few months it has to be plugged in to top off its power. I marked my calendar so I don't forget. The device has a couple of bonus features. It can charge USB devices, power car accessories that plug into a 12V car outlet, plus a flashlight with an automated SOS signal. I never want to be in a car again without this car battery jump starter. It's a keeper! Read more

I bought the STRAUTO Car Battery Jump Starter because I like the idea of being the hero in my own roadside movie. You know the scene: my car dies, dramatic music plays, a storm rolls in, and BAM—I whip this bad boy out like Thor’s hammer and bring my engine back to life. Has that happened yet? Nope. My car, of course, has chosen to behave perfectly ever since this thing arrived—probably out of fear. STRAUTO must have some sort of magical anti-breakdown aura. Charging it was super easy—just plug it in, wait for the lights to do their flashy dance, and you're good to go. I love that it has USB-A/USB-C options, too. If the car never dies, at least I’ll have my phone at 100% and a flashlight bright enough to signal passing satellites. Will update if I ever have to actually use it, but for now it sits in my trunk like a tiny, silent bodyguard. Highly recommend—even if just for the peace of mind and the subtle intimidation of your car battery. Read more
