This is a very sticky mat. However, that was exactly what I was looking for. I keep it in my rv and put my cb on top of it on the dash so it won't slide around. It sticks like glue and goes nowhere. Hang on to the flat packing it comes in, as well as the plastic that originally went on top of it. That's how you'll store it for a long time of use. I had a previous sticky pad that lasted years until I got lazy and left it on the dash. Over a hot summer it melted onto the dash which I can definitely see happening with this. If it's hot out and you're parked for a while, take it off and properly put it away. It can be rinsed off under a faucet if it gets dirty and will work like new again. Read more

This product came exactly as described. I’ve been using it for quite some time now and in the Florida hot sun it has not melted to my dashboard at all even in over 100° weather for months. I keep a box of Kleenex on top of it so my Kleenex won’t slide around. Is a perfect size. Pros: inexpensive price, easy to install, items stick to it easily, looks decent. Cons: attracts a lot of dust, hard to remove, and mine started melting in the sun and became a black, gooey, sticky mess that I couldn’t put anything on anymore. This is my 3rd time ordering, & I'll order again if I need to. Sticky, but does not leave any residue on your dash. Easily rinsed off to renew it's stickiness.
