The media could not be loaded. IT WORKS!!! I have the bad habit of sometimes forgetting to start/use my Ford E350 Van (V8, gas). I only use it periodically and, when I forget, the battery drains. I also do NOT want to use our other more current/modern cars to jump start the Van because, FYI, it can damage the sensitive electronics of newer cars. I also want to avoid using my Roadside Hazzard Insurance because excessive use can raise insurance rated. I got this Jump Starter via a Lightning Deal for ~$43... Well worth it if it works! We do own a HALO and have successfully used that to jump start neighbor's cars and even a small pickup truck. But, the HALO is not powerful enough to handle big vehicles (like work vans or heavy duty trucks) that require high amp capacities. I researched my van and found that I would require a jump starter that can handle at least 2000 to 2500 amps. This jump starter asserts 5000 amps... more than enough (overkill). As you can view with the video, the jump starter WORKED! I was on vacation and my Ford E350's battery was completely dead -- not even the door lights or automatic door locks worked! No electrical power at all. For some reason (it could have been user error) it took TWO attempts to start my van with the jump starter (see video). But it definitelt handled my big heavy duty commercial van like a champ. I cannot believe such a little and lightweight device would start it -- especially with a battery that was completely drained. I let my van running for 30+ minutes and it is back to full form. The video actually shows my experience from first opening the product, to charging it, and to finally using it to successfully jump starting my van. Again, I got this jump starter from a Amazon on a Lightning Deal and received it overnight (Early morning the next day... Isn't Amazon amazing!). Here are a few points I found: ● The jump starter arrived at 75% power. I wanted to give the starter a fair test, so I charged it to 100%. I did lose track of time, but I estimate that it took appx. 2.5 hours to charge the remaining 25%. That's not exactly a fast charge. But, most people (including myself) would charge this overnight before going to a trip or camping. So a potential ~10hr period for a full charge (from 0% to 100%) is not an issue. ● The instructions are not as clear as HALO's (HALO has clear instructions in the carrying protective bag). But it is very user friendly and not difficult to use. However, I would suggest making an instruction card, maybe laminate it, and include it in the carrying case. This way your spouse, children, whoever, can easily use it. ● Maybe I missed it, but the instructions DO NOT say anything about a "clicking" sound when you first connect the jumper clamps to the car battery. This was disconcerting. After all, a "ticking clicking" sound is something no one wants to hear while handling anything that can spark and explode... ha! But the sound is apparently part of the process. ● My ONE grievance is with the jumper clamps... They are TINY! I wish they were bigger and more substantial. They were just barely big enough to clamp onto my van's terminals. Other than that, I am VERY HAPPY with this jump starter. It is small, handled my commercial van like a champ, and I will be taking it with me on every van trip. Read more
This works amazing. The perfect size and very lightweight. The battery last a good amount of time, I've charged it only once in like 2-3 weeks and still have around 63%. I've used it a couple of times for the flashlight and to charge my phone. Totally worth it. Read more
I bought the VACASSO 5000A Car Jump Starter to keep in my car for emergencies, and so far it works pretty well. It’s small, lightweight, and easy to store in the trunk. I used it once when my battery was low, and it started my car quickly without any issues. The built-in flashlight is also a nice bonus, especially at night. I like that it can also charge my phone, which makes it more useful. Read more
I am very well impressed by this jump starter. It has good functionality, solid construction. This one is the second one I bought, for my two Nissan cars. The first I bought 3 months ago, never used, and still shows 100% charge. They are for my two Nissan Maximas, 1995 and 1996. Six months ago the charger in the 1995 car failed, and while driving the battery lost sufficient charge and the car stalled. The reliability of these cars 30 years old which I use all the time justifies to me having these jump starters. And yes, I love my 1995 car, which is the best I ever had. Read more

I bought this jump starter because it’s one of those things you actually do need to keep in your car. The size it's compact enough to tuck into the car and doesn't take up much space, but it still feels solid and well-made. The power on this thing is amazing. Knowing it can handle bigger engines is great, and it worked exactly the way I hoped. The cables are easy to clip on, and the whole setup is simple. I also love that it has an LED light built in. That little feature is a plus, when you have a low battery in the dark or just need a quick light for something around the car. The extra ports for charging devices are a nice bonus too, just one more way it comes in handy. The media could not be loaded. The engine was unable to start despite the fact that the dashboard lights were flickering. I removed the jump starter, attached the clamps to the battery in accordance with the explicit markings, hit the power button, and then returned to the driver's seat. Upon turning the key, the engine was able to start right away without any delays or the need for making a second effort. The significance of that event lay in the fact that it transformed what might have been a disastrous morning into a regular day and demonstrated to me that the gadget was an instrument upon which I could place my whole trust. It was the second time that I used it to assist a neighbor of mine who was having trouble with their bigger SUV, which had been sitting without being used for some weeks. I was interested in seeing how the jump starter would handle it since the engine on that car is far larger than the one in my sedan. The steps were as follows: power on, start the engine, and then clamp. The SUV was able to start effectively after a brief period of silence. My confidence in the strength and capabilities of this device was bolstered when I saw it in action on two quite different vehicles. I completely charged it one time, put it in the vehicle, and checked the indicator lights at various intervals. It continued to display that it had a significant amount of juice left even after a few jump starts and many weeks of use. That means I am not continually preoccupied with the thought of whether or not the jump starter will be able to function when I need it to.
