This holder has an interesting mounting base that uses both a sticky surface and suction for a tight grip on my dashboard surface. The bendable arm gives a lot of leeway in placing the base and phone. It grips my phone very securely with the cushioned bracket, and it is easy to release with a quick button press. Even though I have a large dash board, it is rounded and my display screen takes up most of it. So the only place this phone holder would sort of work is near the passenger side. Plus it blocks my air vent which is not great for me or my phone. I am currently using a cup phone holder which puts the phone at a good level for me. If I have to reach across my control panel to use my phone that will be a problem. Although they say it works for large phones I question how secure it is since only the bottom of the phone is against the stand. Mind you the stand is attached to a ball which moves so it has some swivel. That is attached to an arm that will bend when pushed which attaches to your vehicles dash by a sticky suction. I don’t have enough faith to believe that this design will keep my expensive iPhone safe. Read more

This phone holder for cars from COOEXES is very nice. I used to drive for a living and always had a cell phone holder in my vehicle. The suction cup kind I've had before balanced your phone in a propped-up position. I really like that this one puts all the pressure on the suction cup and not the holder attached. There is no balancing act required, and it doesn't fall over like ones I've had in the past. Plus, there isn't a need for a sticky substance to hold my phone in place. That is achieved by the "arms" on both sides and the little "shelf" on the bottom. It's also nice that the position is fully adjustable. So far, I haven't had any issues with this not holding my phone and I think this holder is going to last a long time as there aren't any parts to lose adherence or wear out. The only thing that could wear out is the suction cup from the sun, but it is protected by a little cover that sits over it.
