Quality Carabines with so many uses

I didn't realize how nice these were until they arrived today. They are much thicker and heavier than I thought they would be. A carabiner has ten thousand uses, but I got them to replace the original clips that came with my U.S. flag and flagpole. The original ones, as you can see in the photos attached, are much smaller and less heavy duty. And they are harder to get on the flag and flagpole. A LOT HARDER. You have to hold a few things while trying to press in on the clip. Or use a screwdriver to push the clip apart. And then use the screwdriver to press the clip back into the original slot. On these that I ordered from Amazon, you just push the spring gate open and slide the flag and flag ring in. Not only does it make attaching the flag 10x easier, but the larger clips also keep the flag from tangling like the smaller, original clips do. They just allow the flag to rotate around the pole more smoothly. I bought the 1.97-inch (length) version. I'm sure the other sizes work as well. Definitely a 5-star item and I will be buying more for other uses. Read more
