A very nice surprise!
I used Caress when I was a tween, absolutely loved its creamy lather. But I started using other liquid shower washes when I began my professional career as it seemed more efficient. Then I discovered Caress on Amazon and I bought a few bars out of a sense of nostalgia. I bought the flavor I used as a kid until one day I found this Caress, Shea Butter & Brown Sugar. It intrigued me so I purchased it. When I tried it the first time, I was surprised to find it had an exfoliating texture. I wasn’t prepared for that, as it was always smooth and creamy, but I thought I’d give it a go. It turns out I love this exfoliating bar most of all. It feels scrubby when lathering up in my hands, but not scratchy at all when washing my face. And I have noticed my hands are beginning to look less dry and wrinkled, so I give it 2 smooth thumbs up for exfoliation and moisturizing. I no longer have to carry around a tube of lotion to keep my hands from looking like my grandmother’s hands. And while it smells wonderful and soothing, it does not leave me smelling like a wonderful soothing bar of soap. There is just a hint of sweetness that lingers.
