Very comfortable. Warm without the bulk of a coat. I work for a company that goes into power stations, chemical plants, etc. Often times there’s not a lot of room to move around, or perform work/tasks when you’re wearing a coat and it’s a little too cold with just a hoodie or sweatshirt. This vest is thin, but keeps you warm, especially wearing layers. I’m not saying go stand in cold weather and expect it to keep you warm, no, I’m saying if you’re working in cold weather, wear it over a hoodie or sweatshirt if it’s too cold for just a hoodie or sweatshirt. 1. Carhartt T-shirts run large, but this runs small. I order size L in their T-shirts, but some of them feel like XL. You’d think a company as substantial as Carhartt would have mastered sizing by now. This vest feels wrongly sized in the other direction. First ordered L but returned for XL. 2. The outer pockets are nice except they hav ea single BS snap — THEY NEED A ZIPPER 3. The inner pockets are the bare minimum. They have a single Velcro patch that is so aggressive you need two hands to open it — try putting your cell phone in that pocket with one hand while your other hand is holding a flashlight. And the pockets aren’t deep enough for that Velcro to close with a cell phone. — Again, NEEDS A ZIPPER. 4. Jacket needs outer pen/pen light chest pocket and more inner pockets for cell phone, jackknife, pen/penlight. PEOPLE WORK IN THESE CLOTHES. I FEEL SOMEONE AT CARHARTT DIDNT DO THEIR HOMEWORK.
