Wow! What a terrific fix for my "slightly used" Carhartt coat. This little unit save me from buying a new coat. The instructions were thorough and specific. The kit ncluded everything needed to do the repair. The only, slight, challenge was to get the new piece over the material onto the zipper teeth. The unit is functional and affordable. Great buy! Very easy to change out. I found it necessary to use a blade screwdriver to open the new slider slightly and it helped to lube the zipper with bar soap before installing the new slider. And used my baby channel locks to hold the slider while using screwdriver to open slider and again to help hold it while installing onto the zipper. Helped a lot to use the small channel locks.
