Very easy to change out. I found it necessary to use a blade screwdriver to open the new slider slightly and it helped to lube the zipper with bar soap before installing the new slider. And used my baby channel locks to hold the slider while using screwdriver to open slider and again to help hold it while installing onto the zipper. Helped a lot to use the small channel locks.
