I am an avid consumer for great "working" pants. To my fellow consumers.... 1. These pants are great for bending, running, squatting without issues of ripping.. 2. The bottom length is tapered, meaning it's not flappy wide 3. I did a size bigger as I like a "little room", I am usually a size 34 and decided to get 36.. Perfect. 4. Stitching and fabric, awesome 5. Love side open pockets one each side (got my pen & my box cutter on each side) 6. The elastic in the pants is awesome 7. I got navy as it looks military/police looking, lol 8. I have worn these in 80 degrees and believe they will be good in 30 degrees, I can see that if it's below freezing temps it would not be a prob with underarmor leggings 9. Finally, about to get 2 more because these pants are great for work (landscaping/warehouse/construction, etc...) Hope this helps......... Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: great quality... I am a heavy equipment / diesel mechanic and these come these come clean in the wash every time.. These are lightweight and the most comfortable work pants Carhart makes.. If you prefer overall strength and durability, go with one of their canvas versions of this.. its hard to tell the difference in the ads.. This version has a slight amount of stretch because they have added polyester to the blend, which is why they are significantly lighter and far more comfortable in my opinion.. Read more

These are the perfect work pants. They are quality and fit perfect, true to size. I like these pants because they aren't cargo pants but are made with rip stop material. I like the polyester/synthetic lightweight pants that are made by another national brand. If I would of found these pants before, I woukd of dedicated my choice of pants to these. They are great for all seasons and they breathe. Pockets function as they should all around the pants. They are worth the price which is average for these types of pants. I hope they come in many different shades in the future. Read more

DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT BUY. First, there was not a lot I could find written regarding the belt loop issue so here is what it is. And even Carhartt does not document that you have 2 different sized loops, and the smaller ones are VERY SMALL compared to the rest of the loops. IF you wear a thinner belt, maybe 1-1/4" wide/tall or less, then likely you will have no issues with the belt loops. The front belt loop on each side, is ONLY 1-1/2" tall, so for those of us who run a heavy/wide belt, at 1-1/2", 1-3/4", or evem 2", YOU ARE SCREWED. WHY Carhartt has done this when the other belt loops are capable of accepting a full size 2" wide belt without any issues, is beyond me. ALL of my other Carhartt pants I have owned for 35+ years have 2-1/4" belt loops. I usually wear a HD nylon Operator syle friction belt, with no issues, on any other pair of pants, from anyone. The belt loops are sewn across and the stiches can be cut and re-sewn, but why should I have to pay $10 per pair of pants to FIX a MANUFACTURER DESIGN FLAW. THe front loops have the same material length as the others, they are just sewn "wrong", and there is a 1/2" tab sticking out at the bottom, so yeah a good tailor or seamstress can "fix" the design flaw. I remember when the name brand Carhartt used to mean SOMETHING. Now, its all overseas crap. And yes, the front pockets are about 4.5-5" deep at best, where normally Carhartt pockets are about 6"-6.5". They are lightweight ripstop, and cool, so far. BUT I would send them back if I could, if I hadn't already ripped the tags off and sent them through the washer like I normally do. DO NOT BUY. A WASTE OF MONEY. Read more

Comfortable jean, the fabric is on the thinner side and the waist size is a little snug. An idea if ordering is to go up one size on the waist. I did notice that my 1.5” work belt had a very hard time fitting through the belt loops. I use this pant for work and it’s a comfortable, tough and cool breathable fabric which is good during the summers months when the weather is hot. Read more

I like them. They look good and fit perfectly. They are comfortable, there is a little bit of stretch to them. Light colors stain easily with wd40. Wish the pockets were a little deeper. Over all, these are my favorite light duty pants. Read more
