Great electric scooter! Goes 3 different speeds, the lowest (15mph) is perfect for a first timer. It was easy to setup, get acclimated, learn how to "drive" and the ride is really smooth. There's a headlight too which is perfect for night adventures! :) Overall, it has been a sturdy, smooth riding experience with decent battery life and a lot of fun! Definitely worth it. PS - please disregard the tape near the front wheel, my son wanted to add an extra kickstand to make it look even 🤭 Read more

I bought this scooter in April 2024 for my then 9-year-old son, Micah. At the time, he was already on the heavier side for his age. Now, in July 2025, he's 10 years old and weighs about 110 pounds. I'm sharing this detail so you have a sense of the weight load we’ve been putting on the scooter. As far as performance goes, it does exactly what it promises—easy to use, smooth ride, and great battery life. However, in my experience, this scooter is best suited for younger or lighter kids. When Micah was closer to 90 pounds, it worked great. Now that he’s 110 pounds, the scooter struggles and moves much more slowly—it basically crawls. If your child is around 70 pounds and 7 years old, I imagine this thing would absolutely fly. Bottom line: it's a solid scooter, but I would recommend it only for kids 90 pounds or under. Just something to keep in mind when making your decision. Read more

No not buy this brand. The company does not back their product. It was defective. Will not give me a return address or label. The best I could do receive a refund for $53.00 and they said they will send me a kit to fix it. I never received the kit. So I’m out over $100.00. I am 72 and I had my son look to see how to get into it to fix it, IF I ever do get the kit. It takes a special tool to get into it. It is a permanent enclosure. I’m just trying to save others from having to go through something like this. Read more
I recently purchased the Caroma Electric Scooter for my 10-year-old son’s birthday, and I have to say, it has been a fantastic addition to his outdoor playtime! From the moment he unwrapped it, his excitement was palpable. The scooter features a 150W/180W motor that allows it to reach speeds of up to 10 mph, which is just fast enough to give him a thrill without being too dangerous. I appreciate that it’s designed for kids ages 6-14, making it a great fit for my son and even his friends who are a bit older. One of the best aspects of this scooter is the 80 minutes of ride time on a single charge. We've taken it out several times, and it seems to hold up well, giving him plenty of time to ride around the neighborhood and enjoy the outdoors. It's great to see him get active and have fun while cruising on this electric scooter. The adjustable handlebar is another feature I really appreciate. My son is on the taller side for his age, and I was worried he might outgrow the scooter quickly. However, with the adjustable handlebars, it can grow with him, allowing us to make it comfortable as he gets taller. On the safety front, I feel reassured knowing that he’s riding something that has good stability and is designed with kids in mind. We’ve had a few minor spills, but nothing serious, and he’s learned to navigate the scooter confidently. Overall, the Caroma Electric Scooter has exceeded our expectations. It has provided my son with countless hours of joy and outdoor activity, and I love that it encourages him to be active while having fun. If you're looking for a great birthday gift for a child in the 6-14 age range, I highly recommend considering this scooter! It’s a hit in our household, and I’m sure it will be in yours too!
