This bicycle scooter is really fast I was afraid of it in the beginning but now that I'm used to it I love it I've always loved it but I run my dog with it that's the reason why I got it because I have bad knees it is really nice and there's nothing in your way like a pedal or anything because I fold the pads up while I ride and when I get off I don't need them it's very heavy duty very secure feeling and the tires are amazing I even go in the grass with it I'm probably around 200 lb and my bike I have not ran it out of electricity and I do a three mile run with my dog this is worth the money battery life is wonderful I have never had it run out yet I think it's faster than it says and it feels safe and easy to transport on my bike rack Read more

The media could not be loaded. YOU NEED THIS BIKE - IT IS AWESOME!!!! No need to look any further, this e-bike has it all. I absolutely love it for many reasons, and wouldn't change a thing about it. It even has a cruise control button!! It's easy to operate and a lot of fun to ride. - Goes up to 20 MPH, very easy to slow down or stop, and it's very quick to speed up. Has hydraulic dual disk brakes. - Holds up to 330 lbs (back seat max of 55 lbs) - Takes only 3 hours to fully charge the battery! - Full battery lasts for 15-25 miles, depending on terrain. - Convenient battery display at the power button - Cruise control button is the orange one. When you get to the speed you want, just press the button and it locks it in. Then just use the brakes to slow down when needed. - Headlight is the red button next to the orange one. The light is a bright LED lamp that provides great light when riding in the dark. It is adjustable up and down just by tilting it. - I love the basket because it folds up if you don't want it open. The instructions say to use zip ties to hold it together, but I didn't use those, and find that it's plenty sturdy without them. When opening the basket, put the outer wire in between the shorter hook and the longer hook, that will keep it secured well (see photo). You can also just leave the basket off if you don't want it on at all. - Tires. It has thick 20 inch sturdy and strong tires, good for packed snow riding, trail riding, or packed beach sand riding. Does well on hills (states 15 degree max slope) and rough trails. The front suspension shocks provide a very smooth ride. Has front and back fenders for mud and water protection. - Removable battery. This is a great feature because you can remove the battery if you ride the bike somewhere where there is bad weather such as rain, snow, hail, or extreme cold, and you want to get the battery out of the weather. Bike has a waterproof rating. Also, if you ride the e-bike to work or a friend's house and you want to charge the battery, you can do so inside. The battery is locked in and not removable unless you have the key. Use the latch in the back of the seat to fold it forward in order to remove the battery. Then push the key in all the way and turn it to the left. - Foot pegs are foldable for the driver and passenger, and very easy to flip up and down. - Seat is easily adjustable by turning the lever - Has a bell to warn others that you are coming up on them. The website description talks about a horn, but there is no horn, it's just a bell. - Handles are made of nice gripping non-slip material - Front, rear, and tire reflectors help with visibility of the bike in the dark. - Kick stand is very easy to flip up and down Bike meets stringent safety standards. UL certified battery. Bike is 65 lbs. Aluminum frame. A 1-year warranty and lifetime technical support provided. YOU NEED THIS BIKE - IT IS AWESOME!!!! Read more

Got the scooter on Friday August 8,, assembled it and tried to get the battery charged. The battery won't charge at all. Charger got really hot, and eventually turned green and cooled off, but the battery shows no charge, even after 5 hours on the charger!! I tried several more times over the weekend, same result. I paid $190.00 shipping on this scooter so that I would have it directly from Caroma and have available customer support. I found the Caroma contact information on their website and tried e-mailing and calling, but they aren't open on weekends. I have sent several e-mails and got an automated response for a different scooter. After waiting the whole weekend It took 7 tries on Monday to reach them by phone, I finally reached their answering service. After giving all the information, the person told me I'd be contacted by e-mail in the next 24 hours. I was told they pass the information along and that Caroma only responds by e-mail. As of this updated review on wednesday 8/13, it has been 6 days since I originally got the scooter, and 3 weekdays that I have been trying to get answers from them. The last response I got from them was Monday morning at 2:00 a.m.!! I still don't have an answer as to why the battery isn't charging. This isn't customer service. I'm angry and disappointed and would NOT recommend buying from this company. New update, 8/15/25, still no help from customer service. I get 2 a.m. e-mails with no answers. I finally put a fuse in the battery and now it shows a charge. Why didn't hey just include a fuse????? Read more

So far, so good! Only took me 1/2 hour to assemble, tires were both flat. Aired them up to 50 pounds pressure, and took it outside. Was 5 inches of snow, so I put my boots on the ground and started plowing the sidewalks around town. Make sure and buy the 1,200 watt motor 😉 Read more

WILL UPDATE WITH LONG TERM REVIEW LATER This bike accelerates very quickly, and is limited to 20mph which I believe is the legal limit. The 1200W battery could probably make it go faster otherwise. It was packed VERY well with lots of styrofoam to ensure no damage during shipping. This means it was annoying to cut and remove all the packing, but that’s ok because it means the bike arrived in perfect condition. I find the bike very comfortable to ride, even being 6’4”. The seat is adjustable easily. The front basket is also very convenient for little store runs. Assembly was a little annoying but not too bad, it took me less than an hour. The only tool you need that isn’t included is a Philips head screwdriver. On my bike, the front wheel fork was backwards so I had to disassemble it to turn it around, I’m not sure if that was intentional. I only have 2 complaints that don’t affect my 5-star initial rating. 1 - The kickstand causes the bike to stand TOO upright which causes the bike to fall over easily. 2 - it would be really nice if this bike included a speedometer, which it does not.
