The best luggage I've ever purchased at any price. Love all the pockets inside, the quality of the internal fabric is better than any luggage I've tested (8 sets from Beis, NOBL, Samsonite and others - wife is VERY picky). Rolls so smooth, very well built, opens and closes perfectly and easily. Weighed 12.67 lbs empty, same as my regular hardside Samsonite. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to use these before I wrote a review. I travelled Germany for 7 weeks, 3,500+ miles, 50 trains… and I was NOT gentle with this luggage. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with my choice. I purchased several brands before deciding on Luggex—and this was hands down the BEST decision. I had this suitcase maxed out weight-wise. Traveling alone much of the time meant I was constantly lifting, pulling, and yes… even throwing it on and off trains because I had more than one bag. Some days I didn’t even have the energy to carry it up and down stairs, so it literally bumped down step by step with me. I was worried the stairs would ruin my suitcase, but it was perfectly fine!!! The suitcase is incredibly durable. And the wheels? AMAZING. They held up to EVERYTHING. They handled every surface I came across. Cobblestone? No problem. Although I will say… in Köln (Cologne), the cobblestones were EXTRA 😂 so I had to put my back into it and pull! It rolled smoothly across platforms, elevators, stairs, and everything in between. It also went on and off escalators easily, which was a huge deal when traveling alone. My carry on sat sturdily on top and strapped easily to the pull up handle. I brought a spare wheel but never needed it. The shocks did their job perfectly. After 7 weeks of serious use, the wheels still looked great, just normal scuffs and scratches (see pic). Security was another huge plus. No zippers to puncture, just a solid aluminum frame with two TSA-approved locks. I felt completely comfortable leaving it in the train luggage areas while I went to the bathroom or restaurant car. I also used a retractable locking cable for extra peace of mind. The medium size fit easily in the overhead racks on German trains. About the frame … I tried other hard-shell suitcases without aluminum frames, and they all felt floppy and “soft.” With my hip injury, I needed something I could sit on if necessary. The company didn’t officially recommend it, but I had to tried it out and it was SOLID . I used it as a seat multiple times throughout my trip. Even my 6’10”, 300 lb son sat on his with no issue. The frame is no joke!! Seriously strong and well-built. Bottom line: I am SO happy with this purchase. We now own four different sizes and I am buying a set for my husband. I’ve included a video of it rolling over different surfaces in Bad Honnef, regular cobblestones, the horribly bumpy ones in Cologne and down the stairs at the Cathedral. The wheel photo shows their condition AFTER the full 7-week trip. Read more
I only ever write reviews if I absolutely love or hate an item. This item deserves all 4 stars, and I will purchase another smaller version of this case for carry on. It is built like a tank, the wheels are very smooth, the latch has a very satisfying"click" to it, it has plenty of space for an extended trip, as well as separate storage compartments, and overall it looks very sharp. My only complaint is that by itself, it is a little heavy, around 10-11 lbs. But as long as you know how to distribute weight between your checked bag and carryon, you'll be fine. I love it Read more
Great suitcase. Lightweight and easily rolls. Fits perfect in the overhead compartments. Like the locking latches. Read more
So good. It glides so smoothly. And the latches are so much nicer than zippers. Only thing from stopping me from giving five stars is durability. I'll have to use it a few more times to see if it will last. Otherwise, this is a very nice unit. Read more
I packed for an oversea trip and used the large case for check-in. It held up the typical airport abuse well. But more so, it was the most organized trip out of a suitcase I ever had. I changed locations 4 times. Amazing compartment availability. Everything - clothes, shoes, toiletries - stayed where it needed to stay. It exactly matched the airline weight requirements. It’s easy to roll and handles well in rougher terrain. It is absolutely stunning to look at. Love my purchase! Read more
I wanted to wait to review because I wanted to put it through its paces first. I purchased it back in July 2025. Now I travel for work every week, and I'm on a plane anywhere from 2 to 5 times a week, and pace and walk through airports and parking lots. I typically carry on, but there are a lot of times I have to gate check because of the size of smaller planes. The roller wheels have honestly surprised me with how smooth they are. The wheels have little coil suspension, which I thought was going to be a gimmick. I'm impressed with how much they actually smooth out rough patches. The alloy frame is a game-changer, I never want to go back to zippers on a carry-on again. The silver handles do have scratches and wear, but thats to be expected with as many flights its been on. The latches have a satisfying click and are easy to set up. The handle has lots of adjustments so you can fine tune to your height. The handle is also sturdy and makes controlling the suitcase easy, even when fully loaded. The inside has one side that is separated by a zipper compartment, and the other side has a compression strap. I liked it so much, I purchased the 28-inch one for longer trips or trade shows I need to attend. I definitely recommend. Read more
