As a fan of animation and coming-of-age stories, I was excited to pick up the Steven Universe Complete Collection on DVD. And let me tell you, it's one of the best animated series I've ever watched. The show follows the adventures of Steven, a half-human, half-alien boy who lives with three alien "gems" - Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl - as they protect the Earth from otherworldly threats. Along the way, Steven learns about his powers and his heritage, and grows into a brave and compassionate hero. The show's animation is stunning, with a bright and colorful style that perfectly matches its upbeat and positive tone. The characters are all well-developed and lovable, each with their own unique personalities and quirks. This DVD set is gorgeous and such a nice addition to my Steven Universe collection shelf. The cover holds almost a CD case like book. Once you open it it’s sort of vinyl like! I feel like it was a Greg Universe inspired addition to how it was made. The art inside is beautiful and the sleeves aren’t too hard to put it back in or pull out. There are indeed the 5 seasons, movie and all of Future. What I didn’t see was a bonus disc! It’s mainly just music videos and cool little extra things. The disc matches the sleeve art that it’s held in. Overall this is so worth the price. If you’re a big Steven Universe fan like me, go for it. You’ll love it! Read more

I absolutely love this edition of SU, it is gorgeous and I have it on display in my home in all its shiny, pearlescent glory, BUT one issue I have so far is that the art on each disk cover seems to have maybe gotten wet or smudged with something, stuck together, and then dried, so when I opened the "pages" we'll say, the artwork kind of peeled off and left white patches. Not sure how to explain that better so I'll include pictures. The discs themselves seem fine, so far. If I come across anything else I'll update my review, but for now - 4 stars suffice. Hard to appreciate the artwork when it's messed up like that, and that's what I was most excited for outside of just having this SU edition! Read more

I'm very happy to own this. It's a good show with a lot of happy childhood memories attached to it, but I got a lot of enjoyment out of rewatching it as a young adult. The songs are great, the colors are polished and vibrant, and the characters are just how I remember them from when I was young. Read more
