Let me tell you what. Every time I put these pants on I get mad. I ordered these pants before I started my diet and now I have lost a lot of weight and they are to big and I love these pants. I will definitely be ordering more of these once I have finished with my diet. They are comfortable, they are perfect for those wet days. The pockets allow you to carry a lot of items in them. They are the best work pants that I have owned. Plus they are cheaper than the 5.11 pants. Read more

Let me just start by saying these tactical cargo pants went beyond my expectations. I had some reserves about them, but after purchasing them and going out this last weekend to use them; just amazed me. So, if you are in need of a pair of sturdy, well made quality tactical cargo pants; this is what you want. At first look, the pants seem thin and maybe too light, but once I got out there - deep in the mountains (6 miles in on foot) - these pants rocked and performed very well. They kept my legs protected from the old Yucca plants that can stab right through your close - these tactical pants seemed to keep those daggers from piercing my skin. They are not "bullet proof", but they take a beating while on a 10 hour hike - going through 12 miles of harsh, rocky mountain environment. They took a beating from the river water, jagged boulders, yucca plants and mud. The water just runs off the pants and they keep you warm when needed - but breathe well for comfort. I will be purchasing more of this product. Oh and one last thing, I'm 6' 4" and the size I purchased was 30W - 32L. They fit perfectly in length and in the waist. The many pockets are also a super plus, excellent for carrying equipment. Read more

This is the third pair of s.archon pants that I’ve bought (first pair from Amazon, other two were eBay). I can comfortably wear a size 34 waist. I ordered the 34 waist of these pants. The waist fits fine. The length is fine. My issue is, the first pair of pants I bought by this manufacturer, had some stretch to the material. So climbing didn’t make you feel like the crotch of your pants would rip. These feel very fragile. Like crouching down would rip a seam. The pockets (front and back, not cargo or tool) are a net material. That wouldn’t be an issue except it’s prone to getting a hole easily, and if you put your keys in your pocket or even a piece of folded paper, it doesn’t protect your legs from the sharp corners and that can get very irritating. The material is kinda reflective. Light bounces off of them easily, compared to other tactical pants that don’t seem to have that sheen to them. I’ve also been looking for tactical pants in this style, in the foliage green color. The pictures looked like they were that grey/green of foliage green. They’re not. I know the listing says “army green”, but the pics aren’t “army green”, and I’ve also seen other listings of purple camo cargo pants that says “US ARMY” in the title, so identifying a color as “army green” doesn’t mean anything to me. In the pics, both of the product and of the product in natural light, they look foliage green. In person, they’re closer to an OD (olive drab) green like typical military fatigues. Corner we’re defiantly cut to make these pants, materials I wouldn’t use, pocket designs I wouldn’t use, pocket capacity I wouldn’t use. Yeah, they’re 30 dollar pants and that might seem cheap when better knock offs are 60-90 bucks and the real crye pants are 200+, but 30 bucks is still a lot for pants and these are 10 dollar quality. I was super excited to find some inexpensive tactical pants on Amazon, so I ordered four different styles. I couldn't even give these an honest review because the fit was not like any other tactical pants I have owned. Normally, I purchase 5.11 TDU or Taclite ripstop pants, and those always fit perfectly. But when I tried these on they were SO TIGHT! My wife actually made the comment, "You're not wearing those to work b/c I can see everything." The quality seemed okay. But with these cheap/inexpensive tactical pants, they will not last as long as my 5.11 pants have. As far as the functionality, I never really got to test them out. I love the pocket design. But these had to go back b/c they were too tight. Read more

I bought these hoping to find a cheaper alternative to 5.11 tactical pants. First impressions are they are pretty close. They a bit lighter (17% less) than a 5.11 I have, but not so much as to question their durability. The material is kind of a rip-stop. They close with a metal button, whereas the 5.11 has a button and a snap. They look nice and have plenty of hook and loop closure pockets. Overall, I would consider buying again. I will need to see how they hold up in use, but it'll be a couple of years before I need another pair of pants. Read more

Got these for my husband to wear in his lawn business, and he likes them a lot. Good fit (true to size), lots of pockets, high denier fabric for good durability, and zippers move freely. They are pretty heavyweight and hot in the summer, but they need to be heavyweight to keep up with him when he is working. Better price than I would expect for this quality. I'll try to get these again after he kills this pair. Read more
