These pjs are terrific . . . over the past 3 years I have bought 3 pair for myself & one as a gift . I have been thoroughly pleased with the quality of the cashmere . . . it is thick/cozy & the colors are true . They wash beautifully . I HAND WASH them in woolite . The lady who was upset at the condition after washing must have tossed the pjs in the machine as though they were cotton !! I have not had a problem with the ties breaking or seams separating . 3 years later my pjs are almost as good as new . . .just a bit smaller than when new which is expected when you wash cashmere. The price is very reasonable . My only complaint would be the sizes . Standard sizes of small, medium , large or extra large would be helpful. Trying to decide if smll/mdium or lrge/exlrge would fit my medium size body was trying . Keeping in mind shrinkage , I chose the lrgr/exlrge and am pleased I did . I ordered the L/XL Crimson cashmere pajamas for my wife for Christmas. I was leery about ordering cashmere without handling it first, but decided to do so after reading the good reviews for other Cashmere Boutique products (there were no reviews on the PJ’s, but their cashmere robe had all 5 star reviews). Neither my wife, nor I were disappointed. The cashmere is as stated, triple-ply weave like a high quality sweater, and the color is even and as pictured. They fit well, look nice and are very warm. They were exactly what I had hoped they would be. One thing that concerned me was that neither the Amazon final order examination page before checkout, nor the subsequent e-mail I received confirming the purchase, indicated the size or color. I wanted to make sure they sent the correct size and color, so I telephonically contacted Cashmere Boutique. The person I spoke with promised to make sure the color and size were correct. I received an e-mail from them the next day indicating they were as ordered, and in fact they arrived exactly as ordered. Interestingly, the PJ’s were shipped by UPS, and I actually had to sign for them. That rarely happens to me with Amazon shipments - even very expensive ones. Read more
I think most of the positive reviews for these pajamas here on Amazon are based on people's first impressions - ie, when the order arrived and the pajamas were new. My review is negative because I've had them 3 months and the pants are so poorly made that the drawstring broke and the seam attaching the waistband to the pants is coming apart. I have put elastic in the waist to replace the broken drawstring, and I'll probably have to hire a seamstress to re-sew the waistband seams that are coming open. Considering how expensive this set is, I expected better quality of workmanship. If I had written this review immediately when I received the set, I too would have praised it. I probably would have given it 4 stars. The cashmere is soft and feels wonderful on my skin. The outfit is pretty. It's cozy and warm for lounging around the house on a winter night. But I wouldn't have given it a full 5 stars because: 1) I didn't like the drawstring waist in the pants because it's a nuisance to fuss with a drawstring when going to the bathroom, and 2) the blouse really needed a third button to close the gap more - the bottom button is set higher than the top edge of the pants, so my bare stomach is often exposed. However, my opinion on the pajamas has really soured due to the outfit literally starting to fall apart. So, although the pajamas are beautiful, comfortable, and warm, the materials are poor (flimsy drawstring instead of quality elastic), the design cuts corners (shirt should have had three buttons instead of two), and the workmanship is shoddy (seams coming open) - all of this after only 3 months of wearing them. Maybe runs just a tad large, but then are meant to be lounging pj's, which are meant to be loose and comfortable. My mother, who is cold all the time, loves them. She even turned her heat down five degrees because she's so warm wearing these pj's. The cashmere is two ply and of good quality, very soft, no pilling. Luxurious. Read more

The quality is good but the product is very itchy. I got it as a gift for my Mom - and she's had other cashmere products that she would sleep in. This, however, is too itchy and cant'e be worn on bare skin if you want the most comfort. Overall, nice color - a bit duller and darker than pictured, but nevertheless my Mom was happy with it. For the price, I'd hoped the product would be softer - hence 3 stars. Read more
