First of all let me say that if your considering this Casio bundle I would recommend the Educational pack. My reason for this is that it comes with everything offered with the Premium bundle in addition to the piano training items and a handy USB cable. Bottom line you get more items for the money regardless if you use the extra items or not. The Pros for this unit are many so I'll only mention a few. First of all nowhere in the listing does it mention that a music stand is included. Let me put your mind at ease by saying that a music stand is included and a very nice one at that. It does not have an open back, like many I have seen. The music stand provided will support just about anything you could use it for including a tablet/iPad. That was important to me. The pressure sensitive keys are impressive and the feel and response are exceptional. The lighted keys work great and could be a nice instructional aid for some. The interface software is easy to navigate and utilize. The keyboard stand is easy to set up use, in addition to being very sturdy. The headphones are much better in quality than expected. And lastly the sound quality of this keyboard is very impressive. Combine the sound quality and the pressure sensitive keys in addition to all the other quality features makes this Casio keyboard a real winner. The only slightly negative con I would mention like others before me is that the LED screen should have been backlighted. When you need to utilize the functions it is difficult to read if the room is not really well lit. I solved that minor situation by simply adding an adjustable LED wall picture light on the wall right behind and above the keyboard. The light has a rechargeable battery with a USB cable. No electricity needed and honestly as many times as you use it for the on-board functions it is great way to light your keyboard. Overall this is a great Casio bundle and I would highly recommend for all of the reasons stated above and many more. Read more

It was the perfect gift for my daughter, who had always dreamed of learning to play the piano. I searched through many options because I wanted a professional-quality instrument at a reasonable price, and this one turned out to be perfect. My daughter loves it, and it sounds wonderful for practice and learning. 5* Read more

I bought this for my daughter, who never played piano before. It has so many features and a training mode where the keys light up and you follow along and even get a score afterward of how well you did. She's taught herself about 15 songs so far (4 months) and all without a teacher. The sound quality is very good and the keyboard is super responsive. I'm so glad I bought this one and not the other brand that comes with a stand and chair. I saw a video review and it's garbage. Read more

I write a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews, but only because I don't get excited about poorly made stuff. This Casio LK-S250 keyboard is an older design, with a micro USB connector, but it is plug and play. By using adapters I have successfully connected it to my Win 11 PC and my Android tablet, sending notes back and forth and playing MIDI files on the keyboard. It is a lighted keyboard, but so far only Synthesia and Casio's free software seem to light them, and the keyboard only supports 4 lit at once, playing a fifth note unlights the earliest key pressed. Not much of an issue with arpeggios, but two handed work quickly passes the limit. This and the micro USB connector are my only real peeves. The case has a handle molded into it, while I don't use it myself it would be a boon for gigs or busking. When on a keyboard stand the keyboard comes with a pretty strong sheet music holder that fits into the handle opening. It has a wider than usual lower edge, easily holding a spiral bound book, a tablet or lots of sheet music. I am still at the lower edge of intermediate keyboard skills, and this is a great keyboard to learn on. It has velocity sensitive keys, standard size bit not weighted like the more expensive keyboards. Hopefully I will eventually get my skills up to where that would make a difference. For the most part, a 61 key keyboard is more than adequate for learning. The keyboard will shift those keys up or down several octaves and many semitones. The latter is useful to play along with songs like California Dreaming, which the guitar players used a capo to play in a simple key, but up 4 semitones. There are some built in songs that you can use in lessons where the next note doesn't sound until you press the right key. I don't use that much because I can hear my boo boos, but it will help raw beginners and children to learn some simple tunes that other people will recognize, a morale booster. The case has sleek lines, only using a few buttons and a wheel with an LCD screen to change parameters and voices to your needs, and allows you to (optionally) save that and have it recalled on power on. It runs on batteries or from a supplied power adapter, has a sustain pedal input that can be optioned for expression or volume, useful on organ instruments. Their built in Drawbar Organ sounds (2 of them) sound pretty close to a Hammond organ, so popular on older music. That sums up all I need to say, the rest would be reciting operations that are well documented in a free PDF from Casio's support site. Read more
