This case is the perfect fit for my new airpod 4s. They fit securely and charge easily. I like the sturdy carabiner clip and the firmly fitting lid. While there are certainly less expensive cases out there, this is far superior to simple, inexpensive silicone cases. This is definitely a protective case, not just a cosmetic cover. I tested the waterproofing myself by putting a paper towel inside, plugging the charging port, and submerging it in the sink. The paper towel stayed dry, so that gave me a lot more confidence that the seal actually works. The fit on the AirPods 4 case was good too. It went on easily, fits well, and was not hard to put on or remove. The overall build quality feels solid, and it seems like it is made to take abuse. I dropped it several times, including once onto gravel, and it barely showed any scuffing. The clasp works, but that is probably my biggest annoyance with it. It is easy enough to open, but it can still feel a little annoying in everyday use depending on how often you are getting into the case. Overall, I think this is a very good rugged case if your main goal is serious protection. It feels durable, the waterproofing held up in testing, and it did a great job handling drops. My main hesitation is the price. Personally, I would not want to pay $50 for it, but at around $30 I think it would feel like a great buy for protecting your AirPods. Read more
