Replaced a failed sand hourglass
I like that it works!!! I tried a rotating hourglass design that timed up to 15 minutes. Very artistic and fit the ambience of my wooden barrel sauna but it didn't work more than a week! So I tried this. Not as sexy looking in the wooden sauna but it WORKS! It's easy to use and since it's basically a digital stopwatch you can sauna as long as you wish and still keep record of the time. Read more
Pretty impressed by the quality of this product
I was expecting it to be one of those cheap made in china items, but its actually of decent quality. I have used it under very wet situations, and it has held up, it feels pretty solid and functions correctly. Read more
NOT Waterproof!!!
An electronic device cannot be called waterproof when there are 2mm wide holes on both the front and the back of it! These let water into the inside of the case, rendering the timer useless within 2 weeks to a month. (Shame on me - I actually bought 2 of these useless things!) The rubber seal around the edge of the case does nothing to protect the timer from water when there are HOLES in the case. Do not buy this if you are expecting it to be waterproof! Read more
So far it has worked great and helps me keep track on my shower time
I use this in the shower lol It has no suction cup but I used a Velcro sticker to secure it in the wall. It is far from the "drizzle" area. So far it has worked great and helps me keep track on my shower time... I have a tendency to get lost in the shower.... I like to play music while I shower and I used to use songs for time keeping but sometimes you forget about it all while you are jamming out. I like it because I also make sure I am using my cleaning products well. Conditioner should stay in your hair for at least 3 minutes according to my conditioner label. It has helped my hair looked better. I also become water conscious and now I close the water while I lather hair or body. Pretty handy! Read more
Durable
I bought this item in 2012 for a daughter who at that time took marathon showers. The timer is digital and the display is large. It has min/sec buttons and a start/stop button as well. I have not had to replace the battery in the item since we have had it and it has been water tight this entire time. Today, after 9 years, the display finally went out so I will need to replace the batteries. Even if I have to replace the entire item, it has been well worth it. Read more
