Convenient for indoor/outdoor cat(s).
I had one of these CAT DOORS installed in my garage door over a year ago. The seal around the door is still intact and sealed, and my cat as well as the neighborhood feral cats use it every day. The cat door comes with an attachment that slides into place to prevent neighborhood cats from using it, but I chose not to do so. Overall, the door is sturdy, unobtrusive, and well worth the cost. Ken the Cat and I are glad we bought this item.
It works and my cat, Ken, easily adapted to it. And if he likes it, what else matters? I have going through a window to to a catio. He uses it as though it’s a normal part of his desire to go and come. Its magnets keep the door verticle and stable, but don't keep Ken (although he is a genius car) from going through it at leadire. The 4 way lock control seems a little weak, but since it’s separating the passage from a house to a cage, it will probably always be left in its most flexible open/close mode. Good Pet Door
I knocked it down a star for not including a template. The guy had to fiddle with the cuts to get a good fit. I previously bought Depets which includes a template. I just needed a larger size than what Depets makes. I have it on an interior door, and removed the flap. The cats hop through it all the time. Now we are all happy! Read more

Confusing for a cat. Latches broke very soon.
Good: - It can be installed into a door. - the cat can use it Bad: - the door is clear, and the cat doesn't know if it is locked or not. It is confusing even for me - which position of a switch is "open" and which is "close". The cat simply stopped using it after a while. - forget about these latches.
