I honestly wasn't a fan of these boots. When putting them on they felt a little tight. The zipper worked great and was easy to zip up and down. When walking on them I honestly didn't feel secure. .. I felt like the heel was wobbly like it would snap or pop off. For that reason I probably wouldn't wear them out. They will be okay to take pics in I guess. I don't know if they all would be like that, or if it was just this pair. (For reference in 130lbs and 5'2"). The style is how they are pictured. I was not a fan of the pointed toe, it looked so bad on me.. but I'm sorry so if I was taller I could maybe pull it off.. but that's not the fault of the seller.. they advertised it that way and I took the risk. I think these are absolutely a fantastic find. If you are not familiar with kitten heels give yourself some time to get used to them before you judge the comfortability. With kitten heels you have to roll your foot, heel to ball, and then push off of the ball to the other foot in order to walk properly. The other method is to walk on the balls of your feet. Once you get the hang of it down , these have a relatively low breaking period and are very comfortable. Although I do think the foot bed is a little narrow. Use some stretching spray the first could of times you break them in. They sit at a really good height and will go nicely with a pair of more snug jeans or leggings with a cute oversized sweater or even a holiday/dinner dress. They are nice and insulated , so they will be great for fall and winter. I treated them with a light water proofing boot treatment. However, I do not believe it was necessary.I just like to take extra precautions. If you went to a department store, these would easily be at least one and a 1/2 times the price, if not double. If I encounter any issues upon continuing to break them in I will update this review but so far I highly recommend them. Update - it seemed like there was no break in time however after wearing them for a few nights out they are a little more snug that I expected causing foot fatigue. Just something to keep in mind if you have a little wider feet. I would still recommend them though but would recommend boot stretching spray to help. Read more
