My husband and I were in the market for a gaming computer and did a ton of research into pre-build setups. This one was recommended through a couple of Youtube videos we found that were currently up to date on specs and so we finally decided on this one. It has since been running perfectly and we bought it in December. Have had only one issue arise, and it was related to one of the fans inside of the computer, it was not spinning on its own and we brought that to the attention of the seller and they were good to reply and sent us a fan replacement in the mail with instructions on how to install it ourselves. We highly appreciate that! Would recommend this computer to anyone who isn't confident enough to build their own setup (like us) or for a video editor on top of a gamer. Read more
The system was built very well, cables all managed well. Packaged safely for transit to avoid damaging the internals. The system came overclocked with a system monitor app already installed. Windows updates were decently up to date, minimal patching required. The video card is a Zotac, great brand. The ram is all solid too. Fantastic purchase; just wish I would have saved a little for the ryzen7 and rtx2070 super. Either way, I'm satisfied! This system can run two modern games on ultra settings, along with internet browser with plenty of tabs open and other apps like photoshop going... all at the same time; and using only 60-70% of system resources. Multitasking is a breeze. It renders videos in Adobe Premiere quickly. And it even breaks even (energy costs) mining crypto currencies like Ethereum and Beam. Read more
This review is a revision, after two months of ownership. I was so excited about this computer, and my excitement was bolstered by rave reviews extolling the machine and the class-A customer support others reportedly received. The crashes began slowly, then the frequency and severity increased. I attempted to work with customer service by email (try it with a crashing computer) and received some rather techy instructions about deleting and reinstalling graphics card drivers. With non-nerd trepidation, I managed to do what they asked. The problem worsened. I repeated the process to no avail. Next, via email, I had to update BIOS. If you are comfortable mucking about in those arcane big blue windows, great. Intimidates the dickens out of me. After much prayer and bated breath I stumbled upon the area I needed and managed to do the update they asked me to do (each time assuring me this will make things better). Worse. Very VERY much worse. Now they want to install a different graphics card ... but how? Me? Am I to do that? Essentially, what I have now is a very costly lump of inert metal on my desk and i am left with an old, tiny Chromebook to try and get by. I'm asking for a return, but honestly don't know how to do it, especially as a shut-in who cannot drive. The company will NOT take or return calls. And how can I delete my personal info from the hard drive if the computer just boots and reboots and crashes and reboots incessantly. Even when the opening page does manage to load for a few seconds, clicking on ANYTHING recrashes the computer and the terrible and frustrating cycle starts up again. I'm hoping Amazon can help, but honestly, this is the most expensive and most useless computer I ever owned. Never again. THEY BROKE MY HEART. Buyers Be Ware. Read more
Just ordered the Andromeda A4 on April 26th 2019 and received it yesterday May 8th. It is a fantastic PC made with quality parts! I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I looked under the hood at the components to find name brands on everything from the Viper DDR 4 ram to the MSI GPU to the Motherboard! I've been putting through it's paces for the past 24 hours and it can play just about anything at 4k on max setting with at LEAST 70 fps. The only downside is that I wish it had more us 3.0 inputs but I ordered a USB 3.0 PCI express card for 12$ so I plan on just installing it myself so it's not really that big of a problem. All and all great gaming rig. Read more
I purchased this PC in Summer of 2018 and I'm still in love with it, easily the best PC purchase I've made. It's quiet, efficient, and great for gaming. I've since upgraded the GTX 1080 it came with with an RTX 2080 and installation was super easy took less than five minutes after watching an installation video on youtube, but before I did that I asked this seller if he thought the power supply my PC came with was enough to handle it and they said it would and they were right, I've had no issues at all. Bought this last Christmas for the kid and it has been a solid gaming PC and he also uses it for online school. We did run into an issue with playing a couple of games and Centaurus was extremely helpful in getting it resolved. It turned out it was an issue with Windows and not a hardware issue. Thanks again Centaurus for getting us through this problem. Read more
