This wristband for carpal tunnel has helped me a lot to relieve the discomfort in the wrist. It provides good support without being uncomfortable and allows you to move your hand easily. The material is comfortable, breathable and fits well. I use it for daily activities and also when working with my hands, and I have noticed improvement. Good value for money, I recommend it. The thumb hole is positioned in such a way that it stresses my thumb and forces me to hold it in an unnatural position. I think that it was meant for hands larger than mine are, although mine are not small by any means. I do not find it very comfortable as a result. This is the left hand brace, as I do not right now need the right hand brace. I think that the ace bandage was much more comfortable for me actually. I got these two braces for occasional tendonitis in the outside of my wrists. It does apply compression on the outside of my hand in this location, but I do not like the way it forces me to hold my thumb like I said. Next thing you know I'll have tendonitis in my thumb. This is not a good trade off for me. I don't think I will be using them much as a result. My husband might like them though as they appear to be made for bigger hands than I have. C'est la vie. Win some; lose some. By the way I think that the design is in the realm of possibility, but not for me. Read more
