A more hefty than I expected, which is actually good with this because it is a luxury item. Ceramic base makes it more waterproof than a wooden one, which works given the glass probably deserving a wash every now and then. This is the 5th incense holder I’ve purchased in the past 10 days - and the only one I’m gladly keeping. The ceramic base is an absolute winner since I’ve found that the wooden versions are extremely lightweight & when coupled with the glass covers, they’re just a horrible accident waiting to happen. Speaking of the glass - this is the first time where the glass fit snugly into the base. No wobbling or sliding to worry about. This is a massive issue since all it takes is one slight jostle & you’ll be sweeping up tiny shards for months. They’ve included some incense (very kind) and a brush to help with clean-up. And, unlike EVERY other version that I bought & returned, the pole that holds your incense is already inserted and ready to use. No fumbling or pushing to get the darn thing in. This seller has thought of everything right down to the foam that protects the unit in the box. What a terrific find! I will definitely be buying a second one for my patio area. Read more
