Honestly I was skeptical at first but this has made a huge difference in my neck and shoulder pain. One restless night I slipped off it and when I got my head back in place on the pillow (I am not making this up!) I heard my c-spine crack back into alignment. You need to see if you need the higher end closer or away from you for a good fit. I like the higher end near my shoulders. It defies a pillowcase but it does fit. Very happy with this pillow.
