I bought this cervical pillow because I was having pain in my shoulders and back. Pillow arrived well packaged in a vacuum sealed plastic bag. Upon opening there was no smell that usually comes with memory foam products and it took shape and was ready for use in about an hour. May differ for some people. After using it for 2 nights I can definitely say it has help alleviate my neck and shoulder pain substantially. Pillow foam is firm but comfortable. Fractured vertebrae in my neck. Developed arthritis in my neck from it. This pillow is the most comfortable my neck has been since prior to the accident. It does take time to get use to. Don’t give up after just a couple of days. You have to stick with it. Results don’t just happen like a miracle. It has two sizes depending on how the pillow is turned. I have found this pillow to be better than expected, because I am skeptical of all things that say this will help .. I have had back and neck pain for along time and was not able to sleep on my back for 15 years or so, trying every thing I could to get a good nights rest. After 45 days of use, I sleep like a baby and I sleep on my back now because this pillow gives me the support I had been lacking. i used the lower side for a while and it was better, not quite there and then turned it to the higher side and that was the ticket. Can't say that it will be what anyone else needs, but for me, the results have been awesome. I have had fusions in my neck and lower spine and have had to live carefully, a good night of rest brings much needed relief. I do not toss and turn and wake up in the position I went to sleep. Unfortunately, this pillow did not help improve my sleep quality as a side sleeper. For one thing it’s too flat too low. It makes me snore more than I already do and it’s not comfortable by itself if you are wearing a CPAP machine so instead of returning this product, I used it stacked up on my other firm pillows for attic comfort and I find it’s comfortable to use when sleeping when you place it in between your knees. This pillow is worth the money! No neck pain, better breathing during sleep, and super soft! The memory foam on thos pillow is firm but not hard like so many other "posture" pillows. The case on it is soft and smooth. I was convinced to buy this after reading the good reviews on it and purchased it, my husband took one look at it, laid on it for a few minutes and deemed it was his, haha, so I had to buy a second pillow for him and he has been so happy with it. I love that it has different curves to the pillow and different heights on either side so you can pick which area works best for you--no more rolling up those old poly filled pillows to make it comfortable. Need a new pillow and wanted something supportive to help with neck pain. This is perfect! Took to it right away and neck pain / headache better. Also wanted something not toxic so appreciated the extra certification on materials used for the pillow. We ordered a second for another household member. They said It looked and felt so comfortable they wanted one too. Their review: Both of us have back and neck issues. I wasn’t sure it would work for me and it did take a few days for me to settle into comfortable sleeping. It’s nice and firm. I have less neck and upper back pain since using the pillow.
