I was honestly a little skeptical because the shape looks unusual, but this pillow turned out to be really comfortable. The contour design supports the neck very well whether I sleep on my side or on my back. It keeps my neck aligned and I wake up with much less stiffness in the morning. The memory foam feels supportive without being too hard, and the cooling fabric is a nice bonus. I also like the small center dip that helps keep your head in place during the night. I’ve gone through dozens of pillows over the last few years. As a combo side and back sleeper I’ve found these types of cervical pillows to be the best value if you like memory foam. Memory foam has a tendency to become hot and bottom out while sleeping. This is still somewhat true for this pillow, but the contours make it more resistant to just going flat and dense. I also have a good place for my arm/ hand on my side and the center mostly cradles my head correctly. The only advisory I have is the those with short necks may feel their head isn’t reaching the correct center of the pillow due to the higher neck support and your neck not reach far enough. The media could not be loaded. I have broad shoulders and struggle to find a good pillow. This one is working so well for me. I got it last week and I've been able to sleep a lot better. When I first unboxed this pillow, the presentation was impressive. It came rolled in compressed plastic with a nice care‑instruction card, and the memory foam felt very soft right away. The material is memory foam with a polyester knit cover. The cooling cover was noticeably cool to the touch at first – not extremely cold, but definitely cooler than the rest of the pillow. Once it expanded, the contour shape looked appropriate for an adult head, and the whole pillow felt surprisingly lightweight compared to other memory foam pillows I’ve used. Lying on it for the first time was a mix of comfort and adjustment. The foam is soft on the top and sides with a heavier medium feel underneath, and it took a few minutes to get used to having my head cradled in a specific spot. Once settled in, it was comfortable with no pressure points, but it could feel a bit awkward if my head wasn’t perfectly straight. The raised sides weren’t too tall or too short, but they were soft enough that I sometimes felt like I could slide out of the cradle if I moved too much, which wasn’t the most relaxing feeling. As a back sleeper, my head stayed centered and the contour worked as intended. As a side sleeper, I found myself wishing the pillow were a little thicker to match my shoulder width.
