What is this crap? I've been on the hunt for a cervical neck pillow that is softer/gentler on my sensitive ears. I love this curved style of pillow but they always crush my ears and I wake up with them sore. When I found this pillow with the ear holes, I thought "finally!" I was so wrong. It came so vaccum-sealed that the ROCK HARD memory foam is permanently crushed. It's hard as a brick and so unbelievably thin it's like laying flat on the concrete ground. The sides are uneven as well, with one side vertically taller than the other. I've included a picture of it next to my current neck pillow so you can see the difference. FINALLY! I have cervical stenosis and was having a difficult time finding a pillow that would help me sleep. This pillow helps me with my neck pain. Sleep still slides me due to other issues but it is nice to have a pillow that is actually comfortable and does not add to my pain. Very glad I got this. I purchased several pillows because I've been waking up with headaches and figured I just needed a new pillow. I've always used the chiropractic style pillow which is similar to what this one is. I did not realize that the pillow is cold making it nice for somebody that is going through hot flashes at night like I am. I've been having a lot of neck pain and headaches like I said and at first I was not able to use this pillow at all. I ended up using this one over the other pillows that I purchased and I'm finding it does help me stay a little bit cooler at night and I think it's helping my neck. The size of the pillow is a normal pillow size. It is not a queen size. It's very firm and yet comfortable kind of like those pillows that form to fit your head and neck (sorry I can't think of the exact term). I've been using it for maybe two or three weeks and I'm finding that it's really comfortable once you get used to being cold. It's also very slick and my pillowcases do not stay on it so I'm going to have to figure out how to work around that for winter time because it'll be too cold to use in the winter without something on it. I've purchased almost a dozen different pillows on Amazon looking for the perfect side sleeping pillow for cervical spine alignment - you could say I'm a bit of an expert. I found this pillow to be far too thin (short loft) resulting in my head tilting too far downwards. My last pillow's loft was too high/tall. Funny enough I always used to wake up with my right neck muscles hurting with my last pillow - with this pillow it's the opposite side that hurts in the morning. If you're looking for a low loft, thin cervical pillow, this may work for you, but I don't think it will work for most people. *The ear hole is a great idea, I tend to wake up with my ear hurting from always sleeping on the same side. However, it's hard to align your ear perfectly to the hole, and even if you do, chances are you won't stay in that position all night... Read more

I kept waking up with a headache, until I bought this pillow. A good value, the shape does what's needed and since it's a rectangular shape it looks normal when the bed is made up.
