Great look, great function. I especially liked the design that puts the sensor and the door hinge on the wide sides at the top, instead of on the narrow sides. That design works exactly right for the tight space where I have put the trash can. Read more

This is a very light little trash can that does have a very nice motion sensor on it. As advertised, it's not sensitive enough to open the lid when you walk near it but is quite sensitive to hand motion near it. Unfortunately, I had to return it since it didn't suit the purpose I needed it for, which was to put under my sink on a pull out. The lid is activated by having stationary objects above it, in this case a sink, as well as having hand motion near it, so it was always open under the sink which defeats the purpose. I would so like an under-sink trash can that you didn't have to touch to throw away the trash, but I'm just not finding anything that responds only to motion. I liked it enough that I almost kept it for my bathroom, but it's just one more thing I don't really need, so returned it. Read more
