So far this mat is doing the trick. It was a little hard to unroll, but left on the heat vent for a couple days and unrolled fairly easy with two people. It does need something heavy on it to flatten but flattens nice. My office chair rolls easily on it and it seems to be a good protection for my new carpeting. The mat is nice, thick plastic. For a small space, this chair mat is perfect. I read many reviews, some good, some bad, some rated low for frivolous reasons. I am very pleased. I am using it on low pile carpet and it doesn't move at all. The chair slides with some effort but I am okay with that for I had rather be secure than slide too easily. Size is exactly as advertised so keep that in mind before receiving and making a comment it is too small! It is what it is! Read more

Getting a bigger one - too small for me but its holding up well. CON - Was a complete pain in the *** to unroll - but once I found enough items of weight to get into submission and let it sit it been fine. I have a very deep pile good quality older carpet where my office is an it's working a promised- getting a bigger one. Read more
This is delivered rolled up in a box. It is very stiff and very difficult to unroll. We still haven't accomplished that. This really should be delivered in a flat box and flat. I would be willing to pay extra $5 or $10 to accomplish this. We are going to try the method of putting in hot water (bath tub?) to soften. A lot of hassle from my perspective....it looks like once it gets flattened it will be usable and good quality, but.... oh well. Addendum: After submerging in hot water in bath tub for 10 minutes, it unrolled on its own and became very pliant. It became very usable. It will work well for us. Read more
The non-slip mat is exactly as described. You must follow the directions to make it lie flat. When it arrives the mat is rolled very tight and takes a couple of days to get it flat. Read more
