As a self proclaimed big boy, these make me feel comfortable. Sometimes us "thick" guys have a hard time with shorts fitting us off, these will instantly become your favorite casual short. I tried multiple different sweat shorts in this price range and above. The value you get for this price is beyond amazing! Really thick stitching, weighty, but not bulky and hot. This is not your Dad's Champion brand, this is a total rebrand with quality being a obvious point of emphasis. I tried the other competitors, but they paled in comparison. These also have good side pockets. However, I would avoid putting your wallet in the back pocket, because unfortunately there are no zippers or velcro to hold it in the pocket. These shorts are authentic 10" Champion RW, so they fit right and hang around the kneecap for my height. They are all-day comfortable and help you warm up when needed. These shorts are sturdy so far and I can see them being durable for dozens of wears to down the road. They were 30% less than MSRP from Amazon compared to Champion's website price with the only difference being the discreet Champion "C" logo located on the upper left leg near the pocket of the shorts rather than being on the lower left leg near the knee. I ordered a "small" after reading several reviews, even though I usually order 31-32 inch waist pants and shorts, and these fit great. I am fairly thin and the legs were just right...not too baggy and not too tight. And the expandable/stretch waist was a good fit as well. The only down side for me, so far, is the logo on the shorts: I was expecting a small "C" on the upper left leg, and, instead, what I got was TWO huge "Champions" running vertically up and down the left leg...not subtle at all! One looks ironed on and the other appears to be stitched. Not a deal breaker for me. But some folks may not care for the "free advertising." I would consider getting another pair :-) Read more

These are heavy weight cotton of good quality and soft. However, there is no Hem on the bottom to keep the fabric from fraying, so they look like cut sweatpants. Had to bring out the sewing machine to put the hem on the bottom. Read more
