The thick rubber is awesome and 1000% better than hard plastic ones. This one stays in place, the drain holes are large and work very well. I've tried the light weight plastic tray, but this rubber tray is so much better. It holds in place and has drain holes for heavy rain. I'm sure it will retain some water, but the balls won't be soaked in water if I happened to leave the tray outside. Also, rubber makes less noise than the plastic tray. I wish it were a bit larger, but overall I'm satisfied. Read more
