Sturdy and pretty basic ceiling fixtures
These Flush Mount Ceiling Lights are well-made—they appear to be solid brass. That's unusual at a time when everyone is replacing every part they can with plastic. I needed to replace some ugly ceiling fixtures and these will be a great improvement. At $30 for two, they're also a terrific value. Although I was tempted by the green shades, I opted for the clear instead, because I could imagine that the green glow would wear on me after a while. But either is pretty. I did ding this review by a star because there are absolutely no instructions in the package. While this will be easy enough to install for anyone who's installed lighting before, the newbie will struggle to figure out what goes where. Sellers: tell people how to use your products, please.
