We bought this for our RV. Even though we have a propane cooktop most places we stay have full hookups so we'd rather use the power than our propane. I place it on a cover I have put over the top of my cooktop since my model did not come with a cover - that way I use my light and fan over my cooktop. The temp is easy to adjust, heats up quickly and cooks efficiently. It makes breakfast a quick and easy affair, as we eat alot of eggs and omelets. Once done and cooled, I just wipe it down and store it in my cabinet. It stores easily on its side in my pull out cabinet next to the stove. Highly recommend, great value and works great for our RV. After using a ChangBERT induction cooktop for years, buying a second one felt like an easy decision. The first one has been incredibly sturdy and reliable for cooking in the backyard, which is exactly why I wanted another one for everyday use. I have been using the newer model for the past 3 months and it is as reliable and easy to use as the older model. What I love the most about it is its larger heating area, making it much better suited for larger pots and pans. It can heat a tall soup pot evenly all the way around, and it allows a wide pan of potatoes to brown consistently. I also appreciate the predictable, stable temperature control. When I turn it down, the heat settles calmly instead of fluctuating. Overall, this delivers excellent performance for the price and is a great complement to my older unit. Read more

This induction single unit cook top is a champ to use; it is super fast when I used it with my cast iron skillet for making a grilled cheese sandwich. The skillet had toasted the sandwich fast enough that the skillet handle never got hot...unbelievable. Of course, given time, the handle will get hot, but this cooktop is fast. The unit is not particularly noisy during operation, only the soft purr of its cooling fan/s and the quality of the unit appears to be top-notch. Read more

This aux burner works well on my All-Clad pans. The induction power is small (seems to be about 6 inches) but that is to be expected on 110volt outlet. The front panel is one of the best layouts I've encountered - simple to use and easy to clean. Glass surface is easy to clean. Comes with a nicely thick power cord. Easy to roil boil in an 8-inch pan or less. I placed a 12 inch pot and filled with about 2 gallons of water...not enough umph for that to roiling boil. Update 3/3/26: unit malfunctioned. Fan no longer stops automatically. Powerful, precise, and consistent, this cooktop gives a lot of bang for the buck. Pros: • Works exactly as advertised • Well thought-out interface with tactile buttons, • Clear, bright display • Rubber feet to prevent sliding • Long 12 hour timer • Temp mode settings are not wildly divorced from reality, like many cooktops • Quiet fan that shuts off about one minute after power-off • No detectable power dips due to overheating so far. Dual IGBTs really help keep the power up and continuous • Attractive, easy to clean cover • Extremely responsive customer service Cons: • Reasonable sized coil, but 8”? Not so sure. Better than most. • Not a lot of traction marks on the glass, so pans tend to slide. That’s what handles are for, right? What a game changer, I have a very old Jenaire cooktop that can only heat up to a 9 inch pan and since I like to entertain, I needed to be able to use a bigger pan. I purchased this induction cooktop and used a 12 inch skillet on it. It heated up very quickly, and did an excellent job browning.. It also heats up very quickly. Read more
