I love this sweater! First of all, this is not thick itchy wool. If it is very cold, you will need to layer to stay warm. This alone is not enough, but it is comfortable for cooler weather without making you sweat. It looks stylish and fits me perfectly. I am 5'8" and about 140lbs and the medium is perfect for me. The sweater itself is soft. I am very careful with mine and have hardly worn it so I haven't laundered it yet, but DO NOT put it in the dryer at home! I have ruined wool that way before. OK, i LOVE this sweater, but it might only be for short girls. I am 5’1” and sleeves never, and i mean never ever, end above my hands. They always go at least halfway down my hands, but often cover my entire hand. This sweater has sleeves that actually end right where they are supposed to! I’m so excited! But seriously, unless mine was just cut wrong, it’s gonna be 3/4 sleeve length on you tall people. Possibly too short for average height people as well. It smelled absolutely gosh darn awful the first time i washed it. I very sincerely am hoping that lessens over time or i will fear getting caught in the rain. It has no smell when dry. It was initially slightly itchy on my forearms when i tried it on, all wool is slightly itchy there for me, but i had zero itch after i washed it. I bought brown and it’s a very pleasant neutral color that will go well with anything. Brown is usually not my jam. But this is really nice. I would say accurate to photo. Firstly, I’ve gotten lots of wear from this pretty sweater. It does pill easily, so I’ve had to shave it several times. Secondly, I can confirm what some other reviewers have said…namely that this does not seem to be wool, but a synthetic. It accidentally ended up in my dryer and not a bit of shrinkage. Others have done a burn test. But I’ll still get plenty of use from it. Read more
