Just purchased these a second time for my teenaged son. He is 5'10, 160 lbs. We went up to a 34 waist this time. He loves that it is a slide and click in adjustment, similar to how a ratchet strap works, but obviously much fancier since he is wearing it to church. Whoever invented the ratchet belt should be eternally rewarded... As I get older, I develop more and more of an aversion to belts, yet I need them more and more the older I get. The old buckle version was tough to find the perfect fit... then when you do, they tend to wear out in that same spot. This belt fits perfect every time because you tighten it to fit every time... just pull. The belt comes with plenty of extra length, find the sweet spot, cut to length, attach the ratchet mechanism, and voila. Every time I put this on, I appreciate how easy it is, how well it fits, and how long it lasts. This particular brand is outlasting all my previous leather belts in staying "new" looking. I bought these belts for my dad as a gift. Once I had them sized properly and gave him a quick lesson on removing them he loved them! The belts I got him were the Basic Black/Brushed Cognac. I've had this style of belt from other brands for years and love them. There are much finer adjustments than traditional belts with holes. There are no worn looking holes to see if you go up/down a size and they generally just have a cleaner look. Unlike many belts, these are NOT reversible due to the teeth on the bottom/inside for the buckle to ratchet onto. There are a number of color and texture options to choose from and the buckle has a simple button/lever for releasing the belt on the top for easy removal. These belts have a nice, long strip of teeth on the bottom for plenty of adjustment. They also have inch markings on the inside of the belt in case you need to cut off some length. While they are nice as-is, I withheld a star because I think it would be best if we could choose the buckles to go with our belts. They come in the box, but you have to attach them to the belt after cutting (if needed) to size. Read more

I bought a pair of these belts about six months ago and have been interchangeably using them nearly every day ever since (greatly favoring the brown one), and besides some scuffs and scratches to be expected from daily wear, they're holding up wonderfully. The adjustability and precision of the ratchet method is also greatly appreciated as I've been working on losing weight over the past few months, and it's nice to not need to punch new holes for every little benchmark.
