My Dr said everyone over 50 years old should be wearing compression socks ! I’ve gotten other brands and hated them as the foot part bunches up in shoes . I like these Charmking compression socks. At first when I took them out of the package, I was not impressed, but decided to give them a try. Glad that I did. The compression is just right, not difficult to put on for me, I like the ribbed styling, and the band at the top. The color is more of a beige than nude, I think. They feel so good when I put them on, wear them all day, doctor's orders. Good price for three pairs! Wash them with my everyday clothing. Comes out just fine. Actually I have already bought another set of them. These socks are obvious, so if your looking for some that don't show your wearing compression socks, not for you. the socks are compressing, but i wish i was joking when i say this, one of the gray socks has a tore on the heel line where its sewn after less than a week of having it, and i did not wash them yet. I haven't even worn the gray pairs either, and even if i had been moving it around using it for different purposes, the durability did not last. aside from its durability, it doesn’t hurt to wear nor is it uncomfortable. i can’t say for its size since i’ve never worn compression socks to say this is tight enough, but its tight where its not cutting my blood circulation and not loose as a normal sock. it wears perfectly from the top and heel of my foot as well. from style, it’s simple, and that what i wanted. Compression socks aren't just for "after injury" wear. I wear them when traveling, hiking, and just to make legs feel better during the day. Purchased the women's XL (size 9 shoe), and they fit really well--tight enough to feel like compression hose but not too difficult to put on. The fabric is synthetic for stretch and appears to be the same good quality as hose purchased after an injury, meaning they should last a long time. NOTE: I washed all 3 pair before wearing and didn't have any issues. A great purchase. The only issue was having the product delivered in the original box (not in Amazon packaging) and not sealed at both ends!! Anyone could have easily removed all or some of the hose. Read more
