The length hits right above my knees, which gives it good coverage without feeling bulky. The satin feels smooth and glossy, with a polished, glass-like finish, and it wasn’t stiff. It’s lightweight on the skin and drapes loosely. It’s comfortable to wear around the house, and stays closed when tied in the front. While walking, it can open slightly with movement, but it doesn’t bunch or slide out of place. Sitting and standing felt easy, and the fabric kept its shape without shifting around. The seams feel smooth against the skin, and nothing rubbed or chafed. The sleeves sit comfortably and hit just below my elbows, giving enough room to move without riding up. Visually, the navy color matches the listing photos, and the sheen is very shiny. I’d use this again for casual wear at home and would consider picking it up in another color. I’m a robe person. I’ve lived in kimono robes for most of my adult life. I love longer robes, so when I saw this, I decided to try a shorter size.. I figured it might be good, because I DO get tangled in the longer robes sometimes. This robe is so soft. I thought the lace would be kind of itchy and it’s not.‘it’s a nice touch, honestly. The length isn’t too bad.. it falls just above the knee. I like that there’s a tie inside and outside so it stays nicely secure and the fabric is beautiful. My only complaint is that the fabric smells.. the dye or something is off putting. I did put it in the washer on delicate cycle and hung to dry and it stayed in tact with no fraying.. the stitching stayed in tact and did take the smell out. This satiny robe is fairly soft and comfortable to wear. The 97% polyester and 3% spandex blend fabric has a bit of stiffness to it, and it does not stretch. It is true to size. It has lace embroidery at the ends of the body and 3/4 length sleeves, and a removable sash to tie around the waist. There is a loop on either side to help keep the sash in place. It also has an inside tie for more stability. The seams are well sewn. The lace is thick, beautiful and excellent quality. It can be machine washed, but I would wash in cool water and dry on no heat. Came vacuum sealed and in great quality! It really is satin fabric and is super soft. Not exactly very shiny, but there is a sheen when held close to the light. The package also came with a black satin belt that you can use to tie the robe closed. I really like the floral ends of the sleeves as well, overall a great quality product and well worth the price. This lace trim robe is very pretty and silky feeling. The stitching is over locked and straight stitched, so it should not fray or fall apart in the wash. It is roomie and fits loosely as a large, so I am happy with it, but there's no need to size up. This is perfect for when you just want something light, I will probably use it when doing hair and makeup before putting on my dress clothes. The lace edges are slightly stiff, and lay nice and flat.
