I got one of these, I liked it to much I purchased another one after my trip. The quality and the value for the money is spot on. The wheels are smoother than many other high end brands. It held up great on an international trip to Japan and came back looking brand new! It’s difficult to find a hard shell that opens only up top, the functionality of having the two together is incredible, it’s very easy to use, and the zippers slide seamlessly. It’s the perfect size, 10/10 Read more

We really like the unusual dimensions of this case, and it holds quite a lot. It's easier to fit some things compared to a more traditional suitcase because it's so much deeper, albeit you give up some width. It's a nice color and a simple, straightforward design. The wheels are fantastic, and it rolls straight with very little twisting. I do wish there was an additional handle or grab bar on the bottom of the case to make it easier to lift into the trunk. My wife has taken hers on more than a dozen trips already, and structurally it's still sound. It doesn't even show too many signs of wear. Importantly, the wheels still work great, and the handle still retracts smoothly. However, one of the little rubber "feet" on the sides sheared off almost immediately, and left a sharp screw protruding inside too until I managed to pull it out. Now there's an exposed screwhole in the side of the case to the contents. Also, we bought the same suitcase for my daughter; she's used it less, but still one of the zipper locks broke internally. So not only can the case no longer be secured, but one of the oversize zipper pulls just has to dangle freely now; I suspect it won't be too many more trips before it's gone completely. So, overall, recommended, but with some questions about longevity. If it was rock-solid I would say it's worth the price, but as it is I have to call these a little bit expensive for what you get. I’m not a fan of clamshell openings or soft cases, and I've been looking for a top-opening hard case for check-in luggage. The top opening doesn’t take up much space in a hotel room, which we like. This one is perfect, it’s narrow, deep, and has plenty of space to fit anything. If you use organizer bags to keep your stuff, you do not need to dig through them to find your stuff (because it’s deep, your stuff might get lost). Compared to other brands, it is lightweight, rolls well 360 degrees, and is easy to carry around. The plastic buckle arrived cracked; however, when I contacted the seller, they sent me a replacement! Very friendly and kind seller. My husband was looking at mine and was like, “Oh, that’s nice.” So I bought him another one, and he was so happy. Read more

My initial take was “Great value! Looks great and rolls great! My only negative is the zippers have an odd angle and don't zip as easily as I'd like, but are acceptable.” Then I traveled with the bag on your trips and it’s now broken. The feet that are mounted on the sides of the bag have mostly broken off leaving screws protruding from the bag! I guess the cheap price also means cheap construction! Read more

This is the second time I have purchased this luggage. I liked the first one so much I bought my husband one. I took this suitcase and a backpack for a nine day trip to Greece and it was perfect. It is compact and easy to use with the side opening up. It takes up way less space in a hotel room. And I don’t have that age old problem of stuff falling out when you open the suitcase. Has a very strong zipper. It is sturdy and the wheels are holding up well. Fits easily into the overhead compartment on planes. I highly recommend!!! Read more

I bought this suitcase four months ago, and after a whopping three plane trips, it has officially retired itself. It looked sleek, sturdy, and ready to take on the world. Unfortunately, the world—specifically the baggage claim C—had other plans. Somewhere between Trip #2 and Trip #3, the corners decided they’d had enough and began cracking like they were auditioning for a role as potato chips. By the time I got home from the third flight, the case looked less like luggage and more like a prop from a disaster movie. One corner is completely split open, another is hanging on by sheer willpower, and the whole thing now makes a sad rattling noise when I roll it, like it’s whispering, “Please… let me go.” I didn’t realize I was buying a limited-edition, three-use disposable suitcase. If that was the goal, mission accomplished. If the goal was actual durability, then this luggage should come with a complimentary roll of duct tape and a sympathy card. On the bright side, it did give me three wonderful trips… and now it’s giving me a very emotional goodbye at the curb on trash day. Complete waste Read more

This is the most unique style bag...and I LOVE it!!! It runs a tad narrow, but DEEP. I could fit multiple packing cubes and 2 medium plastic containers which I use to bring snacks like chips/crackers/bars so they don't get crushed. I also packed my small portable fan along with any other small items including my liquids bag so they're not loose and bouncing around. I just returned from a recent trip to Yucatan Mexico and I'm very happy. It rolls superbly. I love that hard shell so I don't have to worry about the weather and I can easily wipe it down. The only thing I noticed is one corner on the top opening got pushed in. I thought at first it was ruined, but it didn't ruin the bag or contents in any way. The hard shell top opening is more user friendly than the clam shell style. I was able to live out of the suitcase during our 10 day trip quite nicely on a small stool provided by our guest. That is impossible with the clam shell style. I've only used it once so far, so I cannot comment on durability, but it survived it's first flight fine!! Read more
