I have purchased both sizes. No complaints here. The thickness does lessen over time, but it super easy to get some filler at any store to replenish to your liking. I originally purchased this pillow to help recover from surgery. It is long enough to support my head, wrap around my side, and still go under my knees. BUT, it was a game changer during pregnancy! I am a tummy sleeper, so it was super hard to learn to sleep on my side until I made it a point to use the body pillow. I could curl up with it and still feel like I was sleeping on my stomach even being on my side AND it supported my growing bump. Plus, I had plenty of extra to put between my legs to help with supporting my hips, pelvis, and back. I had very little pain throughout my pregnancy, and I was able to keep both my head and feet elevated to help avoid nausea at night and swollen legs and ankles. I had it with me at the hospital too. The nurses got a chuckle until they realized that I wasn't complaining about the post-partum body aches and discomfort they were accustomed to. Many asked for the link too. After I gave birth and was finally home (65 days in NICU hell), I used it whenever I needed to rest, but didn't want to sleep. I curled up as I did when I was pregnant, held it a little tighter to my body, and put the baby perpendicular to my body so the pillow cradled her near my belly and her feet were resting on my side. Even as an almost 3yo now, she will still come and want to snuggle like we did with me using that pillow. The added bonus is I make my own pillow cases by cutting the queen-sized flat sheet that comes in sheet sets in half the long way, folding it in half, and sewing the short edge and cut edge, and you basically get two pillow cases out of one sheet. It matches whatever sheets I have. It's great, and super easy to wash. I'm not even sure at this point the number of people I have shared the link for this pillow with, but I have yet to have anyone who purchased it say anything bad about their experience. Yes, it's a big pillow, but you know that from the description. My original purchase was probably 8-ish years ago, and I purchased one for my daughter when she transitioned into her big girl bed as it worked will as a boundary without having rail to contend with (we have adjustable bases on our beds; she had horrible GERD and needed to sleep elevated), and she sleeps with it every night. Bought this particular one for the length. Love it. Need a body pillow to help with my posture while sleeping and provide pain relief. Like a lot of single people nowadays, I live alone and have no access to human physical touch since Corona came to town. I don’t have the connections necessary to obtain some Black Market hugs and cuddles to keep me warm at night, so I did what any depressed, touch-starved Millennial would do and turned to Amazon. I’m a tall lady at 6’0 so the length of this behemoth pillow is perfect for me. It feels like I’m actually hanging onto someone at night, with the added bonus that this pillow doesn’t fidget, fart, snore, or breathe on me like traditional bed partners. Its medium softness does well to somewhat mimic the feel of a human body, and though this pillow won’t gently caress my hair and whisper sweet nothings in my ear as I drift off to sleep I have zero qualms about its quality. Since getting this pillow, I no longer feel the urge to look for a boyfriend during these scary times and it has actually helped me accept my desolate fate. Seriously, who needs emotional support, love, affection, and intimacy when I can have a medium-soft, non-judgemental, silent body pillow to hold onto every day after work? Highly recommended! I have back/sciatica issues and a body pillow is a must for me but regular ones are too short for how I need to use them. This one sounded perfect. True the length is fantastic but it's about as fluffy as my down comforter. Nowhere near enough filler to provide any kind of support - even if I fold it in half which also defeats the purpose of buying an extra long pillow. And yes, I fluffed it and even waited several days before attempting to use it. Guess I need to spend even more money to buy some stuffing. Very disappointed in this. Read more
This pillow is not what I expected. It advertises as thick and that it offers support, but in reality it’s just a limp biscuit. I’m 6’5 and was looking for a replacement to the sleep innovations embrace body pillow that I had for 10 years. I thought this one would work since it’s a lot longer and advertised as thick, but it’s very thin and not what I was expecting. The other one is about 52x18x18. This thing is 90x19x3. It’s not even as thick as the pillows we bought at the store. I should have just bought the other one. Read more
This pillow. I bought it for my boyfriend to cuddle with when I'm away for work. Instead I have become so irrelevant he doesn't even want to cuddle me. His words were "You're no pillow" and grabbed at the pillow shaped cloud separating us. He wants to call off Christmas Eve so he can cuddle with the pillow. He talked about not going into work if he can't bring the pillow with. He sleeps all day and talks in his sleep about how he doesn't need me because he has this pillow in his life now.
