I can’t tell you how much this improves your jumping experience. For me, I’d get very frustrated any time my rope catches on grass and/or tiles of my walkway. You still need to be conscience of your movement in case you start to shift off of the mat’s surface area, however it has been a great addition and I’d say a “must have” for any jumper of ropes. The small amount of cushioning is noticeable and allows for a nicer experience while jumping. If using outside this will attract some dirt, however it is easily cleaned by spraying water (or easy to partially clean by shaking it out). Product works great, looks great, simple and effective. The mat was as shown, size is perfect for jumping regularly. Mat is also nice and thick, with just the right amount of bounce to the step. The included straps are nice and make it easy to wrap up the mat when not in use, and the bag is very nice for storing it. The included jump rope is pretty bad, the rope is too thin and light at less than 3mm, fortunately, I didn't buy this for the jump rope. Read more

I was pleasantly surprised it comes with a jump rope and a shoulder-bag for carrying. It's a good mat for exercising in general, not just jump-roping. My main gripe is that the top is a fabric, not a material which can be wiped clean at the end of a session (like a yoga mat). Sine the mat is hand-wash only, that can be a problem if you sweat a lot. The material on top will absorb the sweat, you can't just sanitize-spray it and wipe it with a paper towel like you would on a yoga mat. That means you'll either want to lay towels down on top, or flip it upside down (not ideal, since the bottom is like.. real rubber, like a tire). Ie, the material isn't the best for heavy-sweat exercises, like jump-roping ironically. Instead it's good for low-sweat exercises like yoga. Read more
