Unit seems to work well. Very quiet operation. Outside is cool to the touch. The exhaust comes out of the back and is surprisingly NOT super heated, maybe ten degrees above room temperature. I bought this for Christmas and received it. I used it a few times already and it’s a very nice toaster oven. It has a lot of different modes so depending on what you’re making you can adjust it. It does heat up pretty fast compared to my old one so I really like that I also got this more than 50% off, which I’m so happy about so if you can get this while it’s on a discount definitely worth it. The media could not be loaded. I really enjoy the Chefman Air Fryer Oven. It heats up quickly, cooks food evenly, and is very simple to use. Overall, it’s a great value, though there are a couple of minor drawbacks. It's been difficult to find a decent air fryer/toaster oven. My first one had the door spring fail and unable to keep door shut as well as other issues. The manufacturer would not respond. It was purchased on Amazon. I then purchased a different brand (Bella) and had to send back due to a failed element. Finally I recently purchased this Chefman air fryer. It is certainly attractive and compact. I wish they offered it in white. I got the oat colored, it's really almond which went out of style long ago. This is a budget air fryer and I would not mind paying more if I could be guaranteed of quality but it appears even pricey appliances are junk made in China. I resigned myself to having to replace the appliances on a regular basis. This particular Chefman air fryer does a good job of making food crispy such as french fries. I like my toast very dark and though I select the dark setting on this machine it is barely toasted when it stops as done and I must set it to go thru process again. I debated keeping it but how many ovens do I try before Amazon stops accepting back? Then an hour ago I found and viewed on You Tube "seven air fryers not to buy" both the Bella and the Chefman were part of the seven. They concentrated on the Chefman bucket style air fryer which mine is not but rather an oven, however, they both are made in same Chinese factory with no concern for quality control nor do they have concern for how many American homes they burn down. The report showed melted air fryers. Again let me stress the report was mainly about those plastic bucket styles but having any style made by those 7 brands is unsettling. I actually love the look of my fryer/oven and I hope having to double toast my bread is not a signal of problems down the road. The oven has ability of very high temps yet it does not throw off excessive heat which pleases me and the controls are easy to select and use. I do not like the start stop button. Finger pads are too large for that small dual selection. I do have trouble stopping machine. If I want to stop cooking part way thru a selection, for example if something has a three minute cook setting and I am stopping at 2 minutes, once I reclose door the machine keeps going. I try to stop hitting the start/stop button but it does not stop until it completes the programmed minutes. I will conclude by saying it is not perfect but there are things I like and I love the size and style. I suggest you keep it unplugged when not in use. Read more

Love this. It’s compact, so it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. It is easy to use, and the exterior does not get hot, so it won’t burn you. It has an interior light, and you can silence the beeper if desired. The only drawback is that it is noisy. Read more
