We had a fancy combo instant pot with air fryer lid. The thing was huge, bulky, heavy, and complicated to use - to the point that we stuck it on top of the garage fridge and pulled it down maybe 5 times. I eventually decided I wanted to try the air fryer thing again, but reasoned that the only way we'd use it is if it were as simple and convenient as humanly possible - so I sold the old one and got this one. I can attest that it IS as simple as humanly possible to use! I got the biggest one that would still fit on my kitchen counter without getting in the way. This basket holds a lot of food - no issues there. It's incredibly easy to use. You just put food in, pick a temperature, and set the timer. Sometimes you pick the temp first (to preheat a little) and put the food in after. The fan stops when you pull it open to check/flip the food. It cooks the food well. I wanted to try a small air fryer and decided on the Chefman 2qt. I'm not a huge fan of sticking digital on everything so just having a couple of spin knobs appealed to me. Keep it basic! Overall, this fryer does the job, but this is the only one I have tried. Quiet? I don't find it particularly so but maybe compared to others it is quiet. My big complaint is the color of the temp/time settings. Making them white doesn't work well, they need a more contrasting color! Read more

I would recommend this to anyone that needs a new airfryer and hate all the new fancy buttons the new ones come with! This one is very easy to use and clean! You just set the heat and set the timer and bam your cooking! I love this! The basket is great size and everything comes out completely cooked! Way better than my old airfryer!
