At last, a hairdryer that adds real volume to fine hair! My 8-year old dryer that I loved died and is no longer on the market. I tried the Revlon dryer brush, the Temu dryer brush and the Laifen hairdryer — all were good quality and added shine but made my hair flat as a pancake. Very lightweight, not loud at all. I am really impressed. I was also surprised that it came in a super nice leather-like lined bag, and even a lava stone bracelet! Great for my fine hair- just the right amount of power and temp settings. Cool shot is easy to use- press for cool and back to heat when you release. Good size and so lightweight. Quiet! I can hear my music when using. Buttons are in the right places- very ergonomic. Nice long cord- left off a star because cord doesn’t swivel/rotate so gets a little twisted over time. Overall- nice little blow dryer- upgraded the hair routine for me- blow dryers are getting so expensive. This one is a Bargain! Read more

I am simply amazed with this air dryer. I’ve been dealing with the highs and lows of my Dyson and Shark hair driers for the past couple of years. Both were an ok driers, but my biggest complaint is that the cold air setting took forever to actually blow cold air and I never really felt like either of them ever got truly cold. I also dealt with a mechanic issue with the Dyson that required warranty service. I decided to go back to Chi as a reputable, long time established company in the hair and beauty industry, and I’m glad I did. Right out of the box, I was amazed by the size of this dyer. It is so compact when folded up, it’s not much bigger than the size of a cell phone. I wouldn’t say it is the most powerful dryer I’ve ever experience (not underpowered by any means), but the settings and the cold air function and form factor all hit the right points for me. The leather carrying bag is a nice touch. I do agree with another reviewer that the tip accessories should probably be magnetic, that is my single gripe. That said, I never have to worry about the tips coming off because they fit so snug. overall,I would highly recommend. This is a significant upgrade to both my Dyson and Shark dryers and easily the best dryer I’ve ever used. Read more
