This Sea Salt Spray is a perfect product for my son’s hair. His hair gets wavy when it grows longer and this spray enhances those waves and gives him the tousled, wavy, beachy hair look he’s going for. It also provides a lightweight, touchable hold. The scent is masculine, with strong notes of bergamot and sandalwood. This spray was made in the US. It comes in a plastic bottle with a spray dispenser top. The bottle arrived fully sealed in plastic. However, when I removed the plastic I discovered that the dispenser top wasn’t tightened all the way and some of the product had leaked out. The bottle was coated with a white residue left by the leaked product. A star deduction for the leaked out product but I definitely recommend this spray to those who long for a beach hair style. My son loves it and his hair looks great. He says he’s going to continue buying it after this bottle is finished. Read more

Not sure where seller gets away saying this will hold hair in place, as it’s no better than water. In addition, when pressing the spray pump, the ingredient comes out in a straight spray, not in a wide spray as you’d expect. SPIT will hold your hair in place better than this junk. Read more

The CHI Pour Homme Sea Salt Spray works as promised to help define texture. It has a nice masculine scent that reminds me of aftershave. I tested it on my long hair, which is mostly straight but has a bit of natural wave. I wanted a product that would help bring out my natural wavy texture. I washed my hair and let it dry until it was lightly damp. I spritzed the product liberally over all sides of my hair, and scrunched it to encourage texture. I then let it air dry. The sea salt spray definitely helped define and hold the waves and gave me a beachy, informal look. I did feel that my hair was slightly crunchy when it dried. I could still run my fingers through my hair, but it felt a little dry and clumpy. The fragrance lasted a long time--it was noticeable and you will likely get comments from people telling you that you smell nice. Overall, the product did work as promised. I have not used Sea Salt for Texture and Volume before so I have nothing to comapre this too but I love it. It feels like beachy hair. A little stiff but not too much, just right. The spray came well wrapped and I realized why when I took the plastic off. It had leaked a little on the bottle, well there was some dried salt on the outside but CHI seems to be aware of the problem hence the extra packaging. I still had 99.9% of the product left so I am not complaining, just an observation. And be a little careful if traveling with the bottle, I have not yet, just a thought.
