I have tried several of these, and I like this one better than the others. It is a little bit nicer material than some others and it feels comfortable to wear. Yhe ear holes also line up better for me. I wear it to keep my mouth closed while I sleep to prevent mouth breathing and upper respiratory sleep apnea (where your tongue flops back and blocks your airway). From what I've read, these don't really do all the beauty things that they claim. But it can help if you need to reduce a bit of puffiness and it MAY help prevent (not reduce) loose skin under the chin. If it does that, it's a win win for me. It can be difficult to find the sweet spot as far as how tight to make these things. If its to loose its pointless, and may also slide out of place. Make it to tight and you can have headaches, stiff jaw and reduce blood flow to your skin (which is counter productive for beauty purposes). So far this is the best one of these that I have tried. This is the second time I have purchased a similar chin strap for sleeping. I wanted something that would help me keep my mouth closed while sleeping but wasn't tape, since the tape I tried caused a skin reaction. My husband ended up taking the first one I got and has reported noticing a big change when sleeping with his mouth closed in terms of feeling rested. I got myself this one and I do think it has helped me keep my mouth shut while sleeping however I have been waking up with a sore jaw which I wasn't expecting from this. I only notice the soreness on nights I put this on and have tried adjusting it so that it's not as tight etc. but am still finding that my jaw feels sore in the morning so for me it hasn't been as great as I was hoping. The material is nice and smooth, but I wish there was one that was made from natural fibers as I feel that would be better for skin long term. Read more

This chin strap for sleeping works great. There is a slight learning curve the first time you put it on, but after a couple of uses it becomes very easy to adjust and secure. The Velcro is strong and durable, so it stays in place and feels like it will hold up well with daily use. I also appreciate the multiple adjustment points, which allow you to tighten it properly and keep your chin fully supported throughout the night. It lays flat against the head and into the hair, so there are no uncomfortable bumps when lying down. Overall, it’s comfortable, secure, and effective. Highly recommend. Read more

I had realistic expectations going in, and overall this chin strap is okay — but it’s important to understand what it actually does. The material is soft and breathable, and it feels comfortable on the skin. The ice silk fabric is lightweight, and the adjustable strap makes it easy to customize the fit. It doesn’t feel overly tight, and I appreciate that it doesn’t put too much pressure around the ears. However, in terms of results, this works more as a temporary tightening effect rather than a permanent double chin reducer. After wearing it for 30–60 minutes, I noticed slight reduction in puffiness and a more “snatched” look, but it fades after some time. It’s similar to how compression garments work — the effect isn’t lasting. Pros: Soft, breathable material….Adjustable and comfortable fit…Can temporarily reduce facial puffiness…Easy to wear while relaxing at home Cons: Does not permanently reduce double chin…. Results are temporary….Requires consistent daily use for minor visible change In my opinion, it’s fine if you’re looking for short-term de-puffing before an event or photos. But if you’re expecting long-term fat reduction or permanent jawline reshaping, this won’t deliver that. Overall, a decent product for temporary contouring — just manage expectations. Read more

I have been a CPap machine user for 18 years and have purchased multiple chin straps during that time, a few have worked well. In fact in the past month I have ordered two different chin straps from Amazon, and acquired a 3rd model from my medical supplier - which was sewn wrong (The velcro was backwards.) The prior Amazon mask (a different model than this was as an abject failure - low compression, continually sliding off. This one was pleasantly, and unexpectedly, useful and did what it was supposed to do. I will say that the usage instructions on the box were a tad sketchy, but, Hey it's just a chin strap. We can figure it out without instructions, right? The chin-holding part is ample and holds the chin (mostly) in place without sliding up (or off). There have been a couple instances where my wife had to nudge me to close my mouth during sleep, but it's been about once per night. I found that I can leave the top velcro attached to itself and slide it on or off for use, simply using the rear velcro to keep it on or take it off. It deceptively looks light given its light weight, but it has sufficient compression and it IS NOT made of the thicker neoprene material that adds bulk and skin irritation, so a big plus. Read more

I have been using this chin strap while sleeping and it’s been comfortable and easy to wear. The material feels soft and stretchy, and it stays in place through the night without feeling too tight. It is simple to put on and adjust, which I appreciate. I like that it’s reusable and easy to clean as well. Overall, it’s a convenient and comfortable. Haven’t seen a change to my double chin, but happy to continue to wear this. Read more

I'm sure this has its purpose for someone. My jaw tends to spaz in my sleep so I thought something that holds it up would be useful. This fits fine and it's very adjustable but with a few flaws, at least for me. It presses under my chin and kind of forces me to snore. I don't usually snore, and every time it happened it woke me up. It just doesn't let me breathe. Also, the velcro tangled in my hair despite my best efforts. Read more
